  1. TD's have been our offensive kryptonite today. Can we convert?
  2. True, but we miraculously tie it, they won't need much time to score?
  3. Offense and defense have both be exposed today. Still a chance.
  4. WRs have let Baze down with drops at key moments, but his accuracy is not good enough consistently.
  5. D has looked clueless at times, but not beating WKU scoring 13. TO give offense YET another chance to get us back in this.
  6. At least every other play is a chunk play for them.
  7. Need a 180 by the pass D or they could throw 20 something more on the board.
  8. This could get ugly quickly. Big loss at home could start a negative spiral.
  9. Disappointing series there. Even worse than driving the field only to come away with zero or three.
  10. I think WKU is a good team. But they shouldn't be able to absolutely dictate the game to us like they are. We're choking on offense when we get into scoring position and our defense just looks completely owned by their offensive system/play calling.
  11. WKU winning in QB play. WKU winning in overall execution. WKU's offensive game plan schooling our defensive staff.
  12. I'm hoping Hines may end up being that 3rd guy. He looked good and was highly involved in the passing game. Nearly had a TD on one reception. May have had a couple catches called back on penalty. At least one of Pierce, Dulin, Campbell hopefully becomes a consistent stretch the D threat. TE is unproven. Not confident there, but maybe someone emerges. Strachan is a great prospect, but young and missed a lot of offseason/camp due to injury. Great size - bigger than Pittman I think. Run game was cooking, but O-line struggled protecting Ryan enough to throw him off I thought. You expect it on left side with Pryor/Raimann rotation at T, but Smith had a really bad game by his standards. Lot to see and agree time will tell. I think the frustration/concern even though just one game is if a loss/tie agains a division foe you should be able to handle comes back to haunt you in the division/playoff race later. My single biggest concern though was just how lackluster Colts played for almost three quarters. I can live with some mistakes, lack of execution, etc. Lot of new moving parts that need time to develop. But lack of intensity/emotion is non-negotiable and we came out comatose in the 1st half. At this point that seems like more than an outlier under Reich.
  13. Well, Ryan also did fumble three snaps. Even if all didn't result in TOs. But he was solid overall. Hopefully the snap problems will improve with more familiarity with Kelly.
  14. Might have won in regulation had Reich not opted for the wildcat failure call early in game.
  15. Looks like we'll have to win in spite of Reich and Hot Rod this year...
  16. Blankenship makes me nervous. Hope he doesn't jack it.
  17. I thought you got a possession if you held offense to nada or FG on 1st possession?
  18. It wasn't always a TD or safety on 1st possession wins?
  19. HInes almost effed up the game as well by eschewing the FC . Now lucky Ryan's overthrow wasn't picked.
  20. And allow Reich to deflect blame for a total coaching travesty.
  21. Preach! As much as the local media's been pumping up the Ryan acquisition. It's just a reprise of the Rivers blueprint.
