  1. Camper w/his 3rd nice grab and YAC.
  2. Well, it's going to the half tied. Must win game AFAIC. Well, maybe the half but too soon to tell. Just say tied late 2nd.
  3. And, perhaps not coincidentally, in the second Raps game (the W), Bjorkgren employed the bench much more - not just due to Sabonis's absence either. Although I agree with posters in this thread that Goga has to get consistent developmental minutes. But there are also guys like Sumner and Sampson who can be very effective as energy guys even in short spurts while buying the starters rest. Even with several front-line players out, I fear the long term consequences of not cutting minutes on these two players in particular.
  4. So Sabonis MRI results showed no damage - listed as day to day. I see where you're coming from with this post. In the first Toronto game, prior to the injury, Raps clogged the lane when Domas got it in the post with double and even triple teams collapsing. I didn't think Pacers/Domas responded in kind to move ball to open players and beat those rotations. I also thought Brogdon - after the 1st qtr - was also monopolizing possession with too much iso/p-n-r for eventual contested drives to the basket. I understand those two players have been our go-to guys thus far. They were both cold in addition, but it seemed like each - in their frustration - actually played into the defense's hands by forcing things/not recognizing and reacting appropriately. Raps D deserves credit. Tough defensive scheme and talent. We handled it better in the second game. I thought Brogdon let the game come to him offensively more than in game one.
  5. If I were Colts I'd definitely proceed w/caution on TY. Don't think the production is there any more for the money he will be looking for. It will be sad if he goes after all he's done for the franchise, but no chance whatsoever if he won't take a pay cut/reasonable deal. And Colts may be confident there's not enough left in the tank to re-sign at all.
  6. Does the fact that the Dipo/LeVert part of the Harden mega deal has been all over the media/internet but not yet announced by either of the teams seem fishy to anybody?
  7. Let's aim to surpass that average rush yards per game stat!
  8. I would love to see Hendershot come back strong. Along with that all our TEs generally making a bigger impact in the passing game. Personally, while I will take as good as a bowl game as we can earn, I'd take a bowl win of about any level. We just need to get that monkey off our back. Also, more consistent pass rush from front 4. Don't know how realistic that is given talent level, especially DEs. Is there still room for development? Is there an up and comer amongst the underclassmen?
  9. Hope for another great game from Taylor on the ground and Hines in change of pace/short passing. If we can't establish run, it will get ugly.
  10. Wildcard berth and potentially division title on the line and you pull that second half meltdown? That's unforgivable regardless of officiating. From complete domination to complete ineptitude. Colts don't deserve playoffs just on principle.
  11. No I have not. But will be sure to do so. Thanks for the tip!
  12. Lots of great stuff here. For classic Jazz buffs, really like Thelonius Monk, Herbie Hancock, and Billie Holliday. More recent - Kasami Washington and Snarky Puppy. Funk: Parlaiment Funkadelic & Lettuce.
  13. Probalby my fave band of all time. Couldn't agree more with anything from their catalogue. Personal faves: Black Cow, Don't Take me Alive, Haitian Divorce.
  14. Only charges to be filed according to prosecutor are against Purdy and Cox - things that were visible in the video footage. Jury decision will be interesting if it goes to trial.
  15. What I see in the DNR report is Cox (?) one of the private property group saying he estimated he'd consumed a 12 pack that day prior to the altercation. So far haven't located any assertion as to whether Booker had been consuming beforehand.
  16. Certainly would not be surprising that too much alcohol was involved given how things played out.
  17. I could understand Chief Wahoo being redesigned or replaced. In fact, I'd support it. Just find the drawing to cartoon-like and demeaning. And I know there was some substantial pressure from some Native American organizations and tribes a few years back that resulted in the team taking the logo off their uniforms. It's definitely true that Native Americans are not a monolith and the other team names you mention surely have varying levels of acceptability or lack thereof in those communities. Very cursory reading I've done on it shows there have been some polling showing differing results about where Native Americans stand on them.
  18. Curious as I recall hearing about Booker taking beer to the gathering from one of the guys involved in the altercation/pining him to the tree. Something to the effect of the guy took Booker on his ATV to where the thing he was attending was and he gave him a beer as thanks for the ride. Where did you see this info? Some have suggested the other guys looked/acted drunk in the video as well.
  19. To my knowledge neither of the two hosts referenced here have reported on this at any length.
  20. Haven't actually seen heavy national coverage of this. To my knowledge no Lemon coverage, rightfully so so far. Can't speak to Maddow.
  21. It's also incredibly risky to his activism and aspirations if what he alleges is false. I'm not convinced it's untrue, but the video itself never convinced me that it was. Defendants side - with what I know - is obviously plausible. Waiting for more developments in the situation.
  22. The issue here is that his story has been shaky from the outset. The lack of damning evidence on the video for racial comments and the entire context of the interaction did not inspire great confidence in Booker's allegations.
  23. Booker's attorney has requested a Grand Jury. What charges are the seeking for indictment - assault and battery? What about hate crime? Federal? So does that even apply? Seems to indicate they think they have strong evidence.
  24. Thanks for the heads up. Interesting listen. Personally, can't help but get a bit of a vibe to the beginning of the PG disassociation from the franchise. May not be legit, but the seeming disconnect between the organization and Dipo in terms of communication and thought process behind his decision making does worry me. Agness compared Dipo not notifying Pacers of his decision not to play in restart before announcing in media to Bradley Beal's, which was a joint announcement with the Wizards organization.
  25. Curious as to what source suggested him possibly returning if Pacers get past round 1?
