Ya, admitedly, ive not watched Cody in the pros, but the only time i remember him shooting outside of 4ft was a freethrow.

The 1st guy I think of is Cody Zeller. Lived in the paint. Didnt develop any outside game at all. Good passer. He's now on his 3rd? NBA contract. What's the major difference between TJD and Cody? Other than 4 outside shooters, i dont see much of one while at IU.

TJD just picked up his 3rd foul. Race has 2, X has 4 already. Trey picked up a tech for an "agressive hair flip" and Al got a flop warning already. Yes, i am aware that Al no longer plays for us but the refs were feeling nostalgic and wanted to give him one for old times sake. Bates and TJD both have 2 TO's each for "shooting with the wrong hand". Parker got one for moving without the ball and Kopp got trapped and tried calling a "Time Out" but the refs thought "TO" meant turn over so they gave the ball to wisky. All in all I think we are doing pretty good so far. The last several years have been a lot worse this close to rip, i mean tip off. 🤣🤣

He has been fantastic so far no doubt, but im not sure id go that far yet. His FT shooting is greatly improved but he is still kind of a 1 trick pony....and its a GREAT trick dont get me wrong. He has taken more jump shots so far this year than he has in his entire career at IU but until he can at least be a threat in the mid range im not sure he can wear that crown. And no I dont have a list of people better than TJD.

Im not bagging on him, but regardless of what his stat line says, im not sure how anyone watches that game and says Race had a good game. He cleaned things up as the game went on and was a big part of why we were in it at the end.

Race did not have a great game but he left everything out there. Im not sure he woulda physically made it thru another OT. Anyone know what happened to Rob? He looked to roll an ankle or knee but came back and got yanked in a REALLY big spot never to be seen again.

We've had 2 questionable offensive fouls called on us already and the Boehimes have come out firing. Hopefully we respond like we did against Marshall after getting hit in the mouth.

Matt Roth was by no means an athletic freak and woulda killed to have a guy like him on the team the last 4 years! Parker knows his roll and to this point has filled it quite well. If he just keeps doing what he has been ill be happy.

I think TJD, Race and Jordan are going to be keys to this game. What they are able to do in the middle of that zone is going to make or break the game, i think.

Marshall should be dancing this year. Their offense and athletic front line was a matchup nightmare for Durr and for the first 30 minutes TJD as well. With us playing the top side of the screener in the pick n roll, Durr never stood a chance of catching up to his man after he slipped for the lob. I really liked the TJD's passing out of double teams. How nice is it to have people that actually knock down the shots!? I thought we could have done a little better job finding Parker in thr 1st half, but when TJD is rolling like that you gota feed him.

I was about the same age my son os now. He's been to a few Hoosier Hysteria's and we went to watch several of the women's teams games on their NIT run but i think this will be his 1st Men's game.

I'll be there for this one. First time sitting in the balcony since Eric Anderson's freshman year. 😳
