I just dug deeper into it with the efficiency vs tempo. 15 of your top 25 best off. efficient teams are ranked 100 or worse in tempo. National Champs were 204. for the second portion I was comparing the top 100 tempo teams vs how they were ranked last year, which i would say is relevant to the conversation. pretty glaring that only 8 teams that ended up in the top 25 rankings last year were in the top 100 in tempo. tempo=speed. speed=less time. less time is what we are talking about. It seems like speeding up the game does not correlate to the best teams in college basketball. Or at least 17 of the top 25 Ultimately does the 6 seconds really matter?
