no where did i say i was against having those conversations. yes, a "fringe minority" have called for CMW's job. Even more so in other places. There are also connotations of that, that have been mentioned.

this is what i am saying... people need to stop freaking out based on the first 6 games. No one is arguing that we have looked good. But i think to expect this team to playing great this early is silly.

What was FAU at the start of last season?

Uconn was 14-0 to start the year. Even ranked #1 for a short period. Mid season in the span of 8 games... they dropped 6. What did the analytics say about Uconn on 1/26/23. When they were 16-6. was it National Champion?

I cant help you if you were expecting perfection this early in the season. Everyone else outside of IU had us mediocre this year. We get pissed because how dare they disrespect us. then we get pissed because we are mediocre this year (currently). I refuse to act like a fool and start jumping ship and call for CMW's job this early in the season. The two seasons we have under CMW has shown us he has the capability to right the ship. CMW and staff has the ability. The team has the talent. Lets wait a bit before we freak out. My expectations are make it to the second weekend. That goal is very mush still attainable. This reminds me a lot of when my GF is riding in the passenger seat telling me to brake for a car 100' feet in front of me.

Kenpom plays on results, its not a future cast. I dont think Uconn was top 15 last year before they won the tournament. Kenpom is basically a calculator of how well teams cover the spread.

Is a little more money worth the risk? This isn’t a program that is on the rise or has been historically good. Come to IU and do bad or even worse. Im not sure that’s a career builder.

I don't have ANY answers. I do remember wanting Shaka over Archie. I don't think i would have taken him after his Texas stint. Seems like Shaka like playing the underdog, not the top dog. I think Woodson is what we need now. In the span of two years IU is back on the map in terms of recruiting. The X's and O's seem to be a little off (currently). The last two years they seemed to have been corrected towards the end of the season. I am not trying to put Woodson on a pedestal, but golly he definitely doesn't deserve some of the ish I am seeing. Already talks of being fired!? Outrageous. Woodson was thrown into a different realm 2 years ago. My point was that every other college coach has been around the game for a while prior to being a head coach. Even Musselman, after the NBA, had like 3 years as an assistant. Then 4 or 5 years as head coach at Nevada. College is different than the NBA. There is a bit of an adjustment period. Style of play, roster building, everything is different. It's about adjusting to the issues. We see issues, Woodson adjusts. Probably because he comes to the board and takes the plethora of information he learns here and implements it into his coaching (TIC). The issue I had with Archie was there were glaring issues and they were not addressed. didn't change his tactics one bit. We don't seem to have that issue currently

Relatively new coach? Shaka Smart has been in the college game since 1999 and a head coach since 2009. Woodson has coached 2 years in college. not comparable.
