@Stlboiler23 I won’t reply. Not interested in arguing, but I am truly curious what skill set Zach E.T. has that would still make him good if he was a 6’9” center. He has no lateral quickness, no athleticism. His only post move is a drop step. Otherwise he gets in position and shoots it over people or dunks by jumping 2”. Can’t guard. Without his body weight he isn’t strong enough to bully ball.

I not only judge the action, but the reaction as well. To me kid is getting blown by, not even close to playing the ball. He knows it's a dangerous play. He doesn't hold on longer to soften the blow. Yah, I'm not sure how I feel about the Purdue thing. I don't loathe Purdue as much as I did as a kid, BUT as players, it seems like they haven't been as bought in as you'd like if they are considering transferring to Purdue.

Taking and making is completely different, but lets just say its 10 possessions. IU is shooting 60% from 2 and 24% from 3. On 10 possessions that's 12 points vs 6 or 9 points. If the other team is SHOOTING 10 more 3's and they make it at a 40% clip. That is 12 points on 10 possessions. If they are MAKING 10 more threes a game. they are utiliizing more "empty" trips to get there as they dont shoot 100% to get to that 10 mark. Lets say they shoot 50% from three on those 10 extra makes. that's 20 possessions. If we were to shoot all 2's on 20 possessions shooting 60% that is 24 points to their 30. If we were to shoot all threes on those 20 possessions, we would score 15 points. My point. We do not need to shoot more threes because the other teams is. If it is the cig, I wouldn’t expect a fast turn around. Don’t know if he is a well enough known character to instantly impact recruiting. You can only do so much with recruits that would be 3rd string on a lot of programs. but I do like the hire if true.
