agree with the first part.
second part is a little confusing. your argument is teams waste a few seconds to get into their offence and end up with late clock bad offense, but your solution is to take away 6 seconds to hope that teams produce a better shot quicker?
Thing is... 2+ years ago, we were in the same boat, but with recruits ranked 100+. It just feels better, being there with top 50, 30, 20 recruits.

side note: I am on the side of the Colts (not a colts fan) on this one. Plenty of players go through "prove it" years. But also the RB position in the NFL is not as valuable anymore.
