….I mean, what is there to say? I not surprised, nor am I really disappointed. Something tells me, he realizes (even fully healthy), his stock has dropped at IU among the current and incoming QB’s.
From what I have heard he has been less than dedicated this year to the craft and the team so I am not surprised either.

Hell yes they quit. I picked a load of them up after the MD. loss. From the bus to a party. Thats when I quit on IU football for good.
Lack of prep or caring. Ask yourself what players played injured and worked their way back at full cost to themselves for the team and what players just disappeared. What you are saying is in line with what I have heard.

Yeah this was a great game and a great win! I really enjoy watching them play as well.

honestly most of the time i don't see anything on the B1G network alternate channels. I honestly don't know why they even have them if they aren't going to use them. The B1G network is a joke
I would actually say this is a testament to BIG football and its increased coverage on Fox. Used to be IU football would always be on the alternate channel and now there is not need as most BIG games are picked up by the major players and the main BIG channel. Not sure i have ever seen a basketball game on the alternate channel every but might be wrong.

Huge game for the Lady Hoosiers as they meet a traditional rival that is highly ranked. Should be a fantastic game!
- Tip Off: 5pm at SSAH
- TV: ESPN
- Radio: WHCC 105.1 FM
Looks like this game is not only a big rivalry game but also the game where they will be having an Alumni Reunion to celebrate the 50th season of IU Women's Hoops! Nice to see this game on ESPN as well.

This is essentially a post game thread now but the Lady Hoosiers dominated Butler on a career night from Cardano-Hillary.
Berger also hit 1,000 points for her IU career. Big game coming up next against #13 Kentucky.

Also I appreciate that everyone seems to be relatively understanding that this is the first game and things will hopefully improve as coach and the players get going through the season. I was talking to my neighbor and he said a few people around him said we might as well have kept Archie if this is how things are going to be 😩. I didn’t have many people around us, unfortunately a few to many open seats so didn’t here much talk like that so hopefully it was limited as that’s just bonkers.

Wow, just looking at the stat line, Kopp, Thompson, X, and Phinisee were 2-for-15 from 3.
Phinisee especially, 3-for-11 from the field, 1-for-5 from 3, with just 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 turnovers in 26 minutes. Not a good showing.
This was my takeaway. I am fine with the win and know it’s early. I am all about judging the body not one game but man was I uninspired and maybe even disappointed with Rob today. At this point in his career he needs to understand what he is and it’s not a 3 point shooter. Drive the ball, feed the big men, take mid range jumpers when they fall off to double the big. He started the game with two great mid range shots and then settled for threes and bogged down the flow. If he comes out and continues to play like today I would prefer coach give his time to others of this is how he is going to play consistently this year. I hope it’s a blip and not a sign of things to come.

FYI….Highly recommend Americano in Ellettsville if your driving through for an IU game
My youngest goes there often with her friends. She likes them for sure.
I have had a few work meetings at Brilliant Coffee down town by Yanko's, they have always been solid when i go.

Dunkin donuts > reused coffee grounds > toilet water > folgers > Starbucks.
That's my rankings anyway.
Just no to paper straws. Stainless steel ftw.
My kid and I like the Starbucks refreshers and the cold brew. Pumpkin Cold brew is amazing!
Paper straws are the absolute worst. Best straws are the ones made from corn or other real food materials as they still are solid like plastic but are edible for wildlife and i believe deteriorate quickly but not too quickly to finish your drink.

They have straws at Starbucks I thought they banned those...
As a frequent Starbucks purchaser/moron I can tell you they do. Most you just have to ask they dont keep them out anymore. My kid always wants a straw and have never been turned down. Some places have paper ones but they still have them.
Saving turtles is so 2019.

Maybe he took to many extra straws from the sample gate Starbucks?

There's no way any IU basketball player could be this stupid? Is there?
Yes actually, and history confirms this unfortunately.

Hearing it was fake news. New twitter account and 1st post.
As someone that is not a fan of social media and value my privacy this is exactly what I would do to leak out news if I didn’t want it traced back to me. I totally get the whole idea around being skeptical of a one time new account post but I actually see it more as a sign of plausible.

I will be there and can’t wait. Excited to get back in AH and see this team live in action.
Also put in my request for the Crossroads Classic.

With the transfer portal the line could be rebuilt in a year. Get the right OL coach to bring in the right guys and just maybe…

I was excited to see a bunch of schedule posters out in AH when went in to use the restrooms while tailgating at the football game this weekend. I grabbed 4 for myself and various family. I always use the poster as my first sign the season is upon us!

My understanding is the only rule they have is you are supposed to wear masks in enclosed spaces like the bathrooms. Other than that masks are recommended but not required in stands.myself or someone from my family have been to every game and similar to above they don’t check vax status.

I keep reading that everything is good inside the program, but the transfers and the product on the field sure doesn't seem like it.
Transfers happen to all programs. Likely more now with NIL. The QB for App St transferred from Clemson to Duke to App St.
I wouldn’t use transfers to gage if things are bad or good. If anything I would say the ones that don’t buy in to LEO are the ones more likely to transfer.

Is it normal for programs to have as many mid-season transfers as we're seeing? Doesn't give me good vibes about the direction we're heading.
It’s a lot easier to decide to transfer mid season with the 4 games but payed and still redshirt rule. Not sure it factors for these two but now you can play and see what happens and decide midseason you want to bounce. I suspect we will see this consistently every year with the redshirt rule as is. Not saying it’s bad just pointing it out.

Any new weather/flatulence reports?
I have always found the key to good flatulence is to know when a fart may or may not be a possible shart and take according proactive measures because no one wants to be reactive post shart.

Has anyone seen any details on how they will be distributing the normal team schedule poster? Last year them doing it by mail was great as I didn’t have to wrangle extras and mail them out for my relatives and just sent them the link to order themselves.
IU set to hire Walt Bell as offensive coordinator.

I’ll just say as a stat guy if you look at the numbers this hire doesn’t really move the needle for me. However, let’s look at recruiting first, additional transfers as a 1b, and then maybe actually see some games first next year before making a final determination. I also wonder if this hire being less flashy means this guy will stay for a few years. That has to be something worth considering as this team not only needs some new offensive blood but maybe someone that if successful might stay a year or two extra.
