  1. Detroit will finish the season with 8-9 wins.
  2. Agree. Detroit has a very underrated offense.
  3. A lot of people think he's older than 42.
  4. Fournette is going to be a Top 5 RB this season.
  5. Several former Hoosiers cut today, In addition to Caleb Jones mentioned above, Tevin Coleman, Nate Sudfeld, Coy Cronk, and Tegray Scales are names I've seen.
  6. That's okay, I have him too. I'll let you have him for Kupp though. 😁
  7. I'm counting on him being consistent for 10-12 points each week. But, I'm concerned about Cook taking most of the RB passing targets. And, Allen will get the bulk of the goal line work. So, Singletary's ceiling is capped. Don't forsee him ever giving me 25 in a week. Jacobs has a better situation to give me the huge week, but he could get shuffled to the back of a 3-way committee as well
  8. Unfortunately, in the Champions League, the one thing I would like (a better RB 2), you don't have. On my other team, I'm not ready to tinker with it just yet. Pretty happy with how that one turned out, despite the Yahoo analysis that ripped it apart.
  9. Kyle Pitts was almost as bad. Only scored 1 TD.
  10. I have not. Honestly don't even know what channel / streaming service to find it on.
  11. Pittsburgh just popped into my head. Najee nursing a little bit of a foot injury and has an excessive workload like it is.
  12. I say this in all honesty as just a guy who enjoys watching golf from time to time. There are only two names on the LIV list that would draw me to the tv. Phil and Cam Smith. Sergio may have at some point in the past, but not any more. A DJ and Koepka final pairing on Sunday would have actually caused me to turn off the tv.
  13. I think it's safe to say that LIV has done a better job securing international talent than they have done so with USA players. Other than DJ, is there really a relavent U.S. player on the list? Phil is in name only. Koepka and DeChambeau are more soap opera than threats to win these days. There are some international names on there that will absolutely hurt the quality of PGA fields going forward though.
  14. Eagles make sense. Forgot about them. But, the Giants would be stupid to not make contact. Otherwise, with no receivers that can stay healthy, Barkley is looking at a massive workload, both on the ground and as a receiver.
  15. 30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 14 One of Mellencamp's catchier tunes. Hard to not move along with the beat on this one. From the Dance Naked album.
  16. I really have no idea on Hurst since we saw nothing from the Bengals starters in the preseason. It would not surprise me if he gets heavy usage early on to soften up the defense on the wideouts. He's definitely number 4 on the target list, but teh good news is that the Bengals don't really have a #4 receiver that warrants getting the ball, and while Mixon is capable out of the backfield, he's not Kamara or Ekeler.
  17. 30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 13 I need to get me one of those suits. Fron Nothin' Matters and What if it Did.
  18. Will be interesting to see where Michel goes. Backup for Barkley in NY? Or, does he go somewhere like Atlanta seeking a bigger role? Is KC unrealistic?
  19. I have Barkley. Please leave him out of such discussions. 😁
  20. I'm in a league this year that starts 2 QBs, 3 WRs, and 6 IDPs on top of 2RBs, TE, K, and Flex. 16 starting spots with a 26 man roster. It's only 10 teams compared to 12 in the HSN league. And, it has 10 bench spots. As strange as it seems, if you take away the defense from both, which would include utilizing 3 of the 10 bench spots for defense, since one is 12 team league and the other 10, there is only a 14 man difference in the commitment to offensive players. And almost all if that is accounted for by players needing to carry 3 QBs to cover byes. HSN: 168-12 for defense = 156 offensive players drafted. 2QB, 3WR league: 260-90 for defense = 170 offensive players. Take the 170 and subtract out the 10 extra QBs required to carry 3 and it comes to 160. So, effectively only a 4 player difference in bench spots.
  21. I didn't draft a kicker, so I'll be tossing a 'gem' back into the waiver pile even before the season starts.
  22. Reds take a big series over the weekend against the Nationals.
  23. I personally like our bench size. It adds an extra layer of difficulty in managing your roster. I approach it with an understanding that I am going to stream defense, so no need for a 2nd one. As far as QB and Tight-End, I make sure my starters at those positions have different bye weeks. It allows me to only use one bench spot to effectively cover two positions. Even then, I will start the season with neither on my bench and pick up the first as needed when byes hit, or when a spot opens up via someone going to IR. There are some thing s I dont particularly like about our league setup (bonus points for yardage thresholds), but bench size is one of the things I like the most. Not wanting to play musical tight-ends played into my decision to deviate from plan and draft Andrews instead of Conner in the Champions draft. Yes, it made me weaker at RB, but I'm going to carry RB's on my bench regardless. As it stands now, by drafting Andrew's, the only week I'll have 2 tight ends on the roster is Week 10. All that said, I missed the playoffs last year, so what do I know.
  24. For the very reasons you listed, Nebraska football will never be what it once was. What they need to do is find a way to compete with Iowa and Wisconsin. They will never again be on level with OSU, Michigan, PSU, and USC.
