Between my two HSN leagues, I am truly unhappy with only one starting slot. That's Josh Jacobs as RB2 on my Champions team league. That was supposed to be James Conner, but when Mark Andrews fell to me in the 3rd round, I couldn't pass that up. I tried to compensate for Jacobs by taking Singleterry and James Cook back to back later in the draft. My hope is one of them steps up and becomes the lead back in the Buffalo running game. One other thing I am a little concerned about is that across both teams I have no shares of the Chiefs, Chargers, Bengals, Buccaneers, or 49ers. That's a lot of firepower I will potentially miss out on.

Ground game for Cleveland, and strong o-line will shorten the game for them, keeping the score down. I habitually change defenses a lot anyway so I was comfortable waiting until last round.

For those that are not in both HSN leagues, I try to keep everyone up to date on what's going on in both in case you have any interest in the league you can't see. Thought it might be interesting to show how the first round went in each.

You might have missed it, but when you put Kupp on the blocks in the chat for HSN Champions league, I offered up James Cook. You didn't respond.

I actually like that team better than the other one, where it picked me to finish 3rd.

LOL at the Yahoo write-up in the 2nd HSN league. It gave me a 'B', but absolutely trashed me with the 'words' associated with the grade, and picked me to finish 4-10. Gave 5 teams a C or below, yet picked me to finish 10th.

Ended up with 2 of the same players. Darnell Mooney and the Cleveland Defense. I basically stream defenses all year, and Cleveland has a beautiful 4 game start to the season.

I got Lazard in the 9th round of the second HSN league.

I got picked for 3rd place and I don't even have a kicker on my roster. Either those analysis are F-ed up or I have a monster roster since I'm missing 8-10 points per week.

Went from Pick #2 in the Champions league to Pick #11 in the other HSN League. Hey @Indykev, this one starts at 8 o'clock! 😁

I had to turn the FedEx Championship off. Can't be distracted or I'm liable to pick a Tyrod Taylor instead of Jonathan Taylor if I get the first pick.

Weak compared to who? Tiger, okay. Jack, sure. But, there have been very few who have had as good as year as he has.

What about his 3rd round? And, Scheffler may be #1, but Rory has the better pedigree for these moments.

Bogey at 8th could prove fatal to Im.

As surely as water is wet. My only sliver of hope is that my 11th place finish means that you finished 12th.

Scheffler struggling. I would say IM and Rory are looking better.

Love draft day. That said, I'll be super pissed as soon as someone snipes a player I'm targeting. Even if I get what I think is the perfect draft, I'm prepared to be deflated when the Yahoo predictor tool projects me to finish 9th on top of calling me an idiot for picking Player X in the 4th round.

30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 12. Not as well-known as many of the other tracks on Scarecrow, but this is such a good song. Live recording because, unbelievably, the song never got its own video. One of his 5 best.
