  1. Looking to liven up the dialogue here. I understand no one wants to share too much prior to the draft. But, here is a topic I think is fairly safe. Name 1 player you feel is overrated as a fantasy player. I'll go with AJ Brown. Current ADP is WR11 and 28 overall. WR11 in a run-heavy offense with a QB that still has a lot to prove as a passer? I see him more in the 16-18 range. Who is yours?
  2. Sister Jean turned 103 today. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/loyolas-sister-jean-celebrates-103rd-birthday-gets-train-station-named-after-her/?fbclid=IwAR0Fn1WYFusH47VTkOW1W-LJqb7XOYa7khsg93uS1PWPGAOKw6kwSbOBHb4
  3. Vogelbach is not chunky. He is fat.
  4. 30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 6. Mellencamp and Springsteen, from the 2022 album titled Strictly a One-Eyed Jack.
  5. The Reds have a couple of catchers for you guys.
  6. We're going to have to pick the tempo up a bit to get him that many shots in that short of a timeframe.
  7. At #2, everyone except Taylor will be there. I like the wideouts you listed I just don't like what RBs will be available at #23. So, taking a wideout there pushes my draft towards a zero RB strategy, which I don't like.
  8. The thing with CMac is that, Kupp's ridiculous season last year aside, if he stays healthy, in a PPR league, he's going to outscore Taylor by 3-4 points a week, and every other non QB by 6 or more. If I'm drafting at 2, Ekeler, Harris, Cook, or Mixon dont excite me that high. Vintage Henry would be worth a look, but he has his own injury concern.
  9. If I'm drafting # and he is available........ 1) I'm not taking him 2 or 3) I'll strongly consider it 4-8) It depends on who else is sitting there when I pick. I really like the group of players that are usually available in this range. 9-12) If he's there, I feel like I would almost have to take him. Regardless of anything else, I would NOT take him in both HSN leagues. I'm not at that level of risk aversion.
  10. I think the league rules state the order will be determined randomly an hour before the draft. I'll defer to the Mods on whether than can be changed or not.
  11. 30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 5 From the 1989 Big Daddy album. One of my favorite Mellencamp songs.

  13. I can understand shying away from McCaffery due to his injury problems. But, a PPR league makes him so much more valuable. In fact, if you could guaranty me he would be healthy for all 17 games, he's my #1 in a PPR. Taylor would be in a non-PPR. And, no, I will not take McCaffery #1 if I get that pick in the HSN draft because I can't get the 17-game guaranty.
  14. Doing some work this afternoon on my non-HSN league, which I have been neglecting. My first experience with IDP and it is a totally different animal. So much inconsistency in rankings from source to source once you get past the top 2 or 3 at each position. One source may have a guy ranked top 15, while 3 other sources may not have him in the Top 50. I'm enjoying it though. Adds to the complexity, and the more strategy involved, the better for me.
  15. 30m Days of Mellencamp: Day 4 Mellencamp had some singles chart before this one, including Hurts So Good from the same American Fool album. But, I always thought Jack & Diane was the song that truly signified what was to come in his career.
  16. Grilled Asparagus, Tofu, Red Lentils, Brussel Sprout Casserole, and Herbal Tea.
  17. Get that shite out of here. I'm too old for the snow.
  18. The top courses in Wisconsin and Michigan are less crowded in the winter than they are during the summer months.
  19. 30 Days of Mellencamp: Day 3. Doing this one early as I've got some things going on after work tonight. John is known for writing songs with a strong social message. He takes it up a significant notch with this track from his 2017 album Sad Clowns & Hillbillies.
