  1. Standings after Week 13 in KDB's league. We have 5 teams battling for the last 3 playoff spots. Realistically, though, @Hoosier51would get in on points regardless of what happens. It is certain that a 7-7 team will get in, though others with that record could get left out. Key matchups in Week 14 for those contending for those last playoff spots. @B_Avs. @Steubenhoosier @Indykevvs. @mrflynn03 (possible winner take all) @Hoosier51vs @tdhoosier
  2. Standings after Week 13 in Kev's league. We have 5 teams battling for the final 4 playoff spots. Very good chance an 8-6 team will miss out. Key matchups in Week 14 among those contending for that last playoff spot, including a head-to-head that could turn out to be an elimination game.. @Indykevvs. @NotIThatLives @Sagamorevs. @Leathernecks @Parakeet Jonesvs. @ledies22 @ricovs. @5fouls
  3. Standings after Week 13. KDB takes home yet another weekly award. Meanwhile, I'm only 15 off the lead and ready to make my move.
  4. Yesterday's game against Chargers invoke a lot of 'Freezer Bowl' memories among Bengals fans. I remember watching that game with my dad from the comforts of our family room. Absolutely insane they played that game in those conditions.
  5. I went back and looked at my draft in the league we are discussing because I dont feel I got draft 'value' from any of my early picks. I'm fortunate I'm competing for the playoffs at all. I had the 7th pick. 1) Kelce. Has been inconsistent and not had too many huge weeks. 2) Gibson. Coming on now, but was almost unplayable at times early in season. 3) Montgomery. No real complaints when he has been on field, but missed several key weeks. 4) A. Cooper. Gave me a couple of big weeks, but been a disappointment more often than not. 5) D. Johnson. First of the bunch where I feel I got good draft value. 6) R. Anderson. As bad as this was, it's even worse that Deebo got selected a couple of picks after. I also totally forgot I drafted Pittman in the 10th round. Dont think I kept him past Week 1 if I even still had him then. Certainly not my best move.
  6. Not complaining at all. Gives me hope. Missed Cooper Kupp a couple of weeks ago as well.
  7. I know the game was not played, but the official record for now and eternity will show a 2-0 win. That's how forfeits work. Has nothing to do with twitter.
  8. Parakeet is in the best position of the 5. You are in 2nd best because of your points. Sagamore is out if he loses, but likely in if he wins because of points. Kev and I are most vulnerable and would be in trouble if we lose. If we both lose, it could get very interesting because we will start the week separated by only about 5 points if my math is correct. Since you and I face each other, that could turn into a win or go home if both Kev and Sagamore win.
  9. Forfeits are 2-0 scores. So, assume UCLA has only played one other game and scored 100 points in a win. They would have a record of 2 wins with no losses, but are they averaging 100 points a game as a team, or just 51 points a game?
  10. Definitely impacted him yesterday. Unless it improves, he'll have a problem getting the ball deep. And, will hurt velocity on short throws as well, making them more vulnerable to be picked.
  11. I was a Bengals fan for many years before the Colts even moved to Indy. Became an equal fan of both when Peyton was with the Colts but since he left, it's all Bengals again. If they had a decent O-Line, they would be one of the 5 best teams in the league. I'm not sure if they will ever 'get there' with the current coaching staff though.
  12. It begs the question. Does this game counted when calculating team and individual statistics?
  13. Correct. You and @NotIThatLiveshave already clinched. My post is referencing teams 3-7 in the standings.
  14. In the HSN league where IndyKev is commissioner, after tonight there should be 4 teams at 8-5 and 1 at 7-6. Four of those 5 teams will make the playoffs. One will not.
  15. Hopefully, Kaat and O'Neil getting in is a sign that the Hall of Fame looks beyond just stats when making these decisions going forward. Even if their stats on the field were borderline worthy of induction, both gave their entire lives to the sport in important capacities. Hell, O'Neil should have been elected 5 seconds after Ken Burns' documentary aired.
  16. I played him in my ESPN league. So, it wasn't a total waste. But I have a playoff spot wrapped up there. Fighting for a playoff spot in the HSN league referenced above. But, it appears I'm going to win there anyway.
  17. Montgomery or Mooney? Mooney or Montgomery? Which Bear to start? Heck, let's go Mooney he decides. Points as of 1:50 Mooney 0.00 Montgomery 18.60
  18. Are you denying that you used the phrase 'some FACTS as we know them today' and then promptly listed something that is not a fact. Now, you are trying to say 'we don't know for sure' and still trying to call it a fact. Here's a fact we DO know. Hospitalizations and deaths are down for people that have had the vaccine. That cannot be argued or even spun to look differently. For all we know, if more people would have been receptive to getting the vaccine in the first place, Omicron may not have ever mutated. As far as what 'material drop in effectiveness' means, you are assuming what he means. Your assumption is not a fact, nor is the statement itself. We don't have enough data to say anything is a fact.
  19. If IU would have been in the WCC, we absolutely would have missed the NCAA tournament last year. We would have been the 3rd or 4th best team in what historically is a 1, and at most a 2, bid league. We were not good last year. Gonzaga was. We can debate if they have an undefeated record. We can't debate that they are one of the better programs in the country.
  20. For clarification, he did not say it was ineffective. He said it wont be as effective. That could simply mean that instead of being 95% effective that it's only 75% effective. Any amount of effectiveness, whether it be 95%, 75%, or 10% could still be enough keep you out of the hospital and/or alive.
  21. Point of clarification. If the side effects are unknown, how do we know they are long-term? In other words, that's a non-fact presented as a fact. And, that is the problem with this whole mess.
  22. Woody wore that for Christmas? Did I miss the entire holiday season? No wonder the wife is pissed I didn't buy her something.
