IUDan93
Purdue deserves a National Championship. They have been a good to very good program for the last 40+ years. I also think that if they win a Natty, that will take our rivalry up a notch. 1

They don’t take it serious and you can see that with their hires.

dgambill
Very fortunate that was not a good Purdue win but they are 40 mins away.

They definitely screwed around but that was an awful team they played. I had watched 4 NCST games before their conference tournament…and this is the team I saw. I knew they would have nothing for Purdue.
bluegrassIU
That was about as poorly as I have seen Purdue play all year. And it never really felt like they were in any danger at all.

dgambill
And Alabama is just as limited…unless they get hot from 3…but I think it will be a blow out too.

I'm torn between them not coming back because of incompetence or because they don't want too. Edited April 7 by Sea Turtle

Their guards got cut up by DJ Horn until it was obvious NC State was gassed. UConn/Alabama have multiple guards ready to hit those shots. I have close family and friends that are Purdue fans. My kids went to school with TKR. I've known TKR's grandparents for over 40 years. Sometimes people around you being happy is more important than a basketball rivalry.

landrus13
NC State gotta be one of the worst final four teams I've ever seen.
Purdue7
State played great defense Not sure how Purdue is all the sudden “the” premier team in the state IU has earned that for 50 years Braden bet on the under ?

dgambill
Congrats to Matt Painter and the Purdue faithful…they’ve endured a lot and put in the work to get here. They run a respectable program and represent Indiana basketball the right way. 4
IU Scott
Interested to see how Alabama will shoot from 3 in a dome. For a team who relies on the 3 like they do it can be difficult to shoot in a dome

Purdue plays like today they get blown out…but they play a really good game and they can win. UConn could just as easily lay an egg and miss everything like NCST did. Don't forget about the classic awful game in 2000. MSU 53- Wisconsin 41. I think that Wisconsin might have been worse.

I’ll always root for an Indiana/B10 team over the rest of country, so good luck Purdue.

SawatchHoosier
That was the 2nd lowest points per possession earned by Purdue all year, .98 per possession. The only other game they had less was against Tennessee in November which they earned .96 per possession.
