DireBump
At least by only losing by 1 our NET ranking should improve.
tdhoosier
Good fight. Refs ripped this one away from us.
HoosierFaithful
tough way to end the game. My POV: sports are supposed to be a relief/break from the banality and frustrations of everyday life. Go for a walk, mow the lawn, or drink a beer - whatever tickles your fancy. Still bit of a beautiful Sunday left to enjoy.
GaloisGroupe
I felt UI was quicker to the floor on loose balls... that was disappointing.
IowaHoosierFan
Not disappointed mostly. Still some issues that always show up. But we shot fairly well. Didn’t turn it over. Rebounded well. Just can’t go 8 minutes without scoring
hoosierfan615
Proud of the guys for the effort. Need to sweep our home games though!
rogue3542
IU wins with even mediocre officiating. The last two minutes were a travesty, but cockburn getting to throw elbows and bully around at will was equally bad.
dbmhoosier
Likely cost us an NCAA tournament appearance. Sigh.

IUfan93
The refs may have blown calls but IU still had a chance with TJD at the line and couldn’t covert. We also had a 9 min drought. You cannot go 9 minutes without scoring and miss your free throws at the end and expect to win. The B1G refs suck but that’s every game. You have to overcome that and take advantage of opportunities. These scoring droughts are killing us. Archie makes some bad subs at times and it seems to contribute to these scoring problems. Good effort today. Gotta win two at home now. BGleas
I hate to blame officiating, and yes we could have done things to win despite the officiating, but it’s virtually impossible to win a close game on the road, or really any close game, when every singe call goes against you in the last two minutes. That was just terrible.
Zuckerkorn
Cockburn v.s. TJD was pretty much a 'no contest' - he needs to be in the NBA.
ThePaulieWalnuts
Questionable calls at the end took this one away i feel. Win the next two and we’re solidly in, win one of the next two and we’re still probably in but might have to sweat a little. Not counting the BTT since we always do terrible in that. I can’t think of a game where I thought a B1G game was officiated well. They are just terrible abs have been for years. They let the emotion of the home team get to them. FW_Hoosier
That’s life on the road in the Big Ten. They at least competed and executed reasonably well. Just couldn’t stop Cockburn in the second half, and it’s tough to overcome having zero guards on the roster that are qualified to be starters in the Big Ten. Our bubble status is going to come down to the Wisconsin game and BTT... Gonna be sweating it out until the very end.
JaybobHoosier
Didn’t watch the game, but according to Twitter and here the guys played well, but the refs really hurt us at the end. Can someone elaborate on Illinois throwing elbows and getting away with it? Everyone seems to talk about an elbow against Rob but nothing was called? I didn’t get to watch, was at the park with the kiddos.

What do you mean back in the conversation? Yes, IU has work to do at home next week, but losing a quad 1 road game by 1point doesn’t take IU from solidly in to out of the conversation.
