Maybe not the cushion that was wanted, but a win is a win. He wants to be an NBA player, he needs to finish or get fouled there or dump it to an open teammate (Race was there). Not a fan of letting them go on two runs to get back in the game but they won. Take it, and walk away to get ready for the next one. They can build off this.
