Yes I think if there was a collision at mid court they’d call a block or charge, depending on if the defender was there. I thought X got fouled on that play pretty clearly. And I thought we got a makeup call right after it.

What play with Xavier are you talking about? I am pretty sure I will remember if you give a little more description than that… TJD didn’t have anywhere to go, he got led into him. It’s still an offensive foul. Think about it the other way; how can Iowa defend it if them rotating over and cutting it off still allows TJD to play through them?

I expect a fair whistle, too. And I also stand by the fact that a team that is going inside is going to have more contact than a team that isn't doing that. It doesn't mean the whistle isn't fair, it means the two teams are trying to do different things.

Yeah, the ball was off of Iowa and the Race screen should've been an offensive foul. I don't think anyone is saying the refs got every call right... But I don't think the refs were a major deciding factor in the game. I'm not shy on calling our refs when they're one-sided, I just don't really see it at all in this game. EDIT: Wait, you're arguing with me about a play you haven't even seen because of what the radio guys said? The story all week has been they've hardly shown replays of controversial calls in the building....

I would expect the team shooting 32 threes to play through less contact, wouldn’t you?

I have no idea which Race drive you’re talking about, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they missed a foul on a Race drive. Nothing stands out in my memory though. But on the TJD charge Murray was there as he caught it and TJD turned right into him as he shot it; pretty easy call in my opinion. TJD didn’t do anything wrong on it, KM just made a good play.

I don’t think he had released it, but it was close. Even if he had released it, still a pretty easy call. Defender was there and there was clear contact. In college that’s a charge and the bucket doesn’t count.

We did a phenomenal job on Bohannon for the first 37 minutes. Absolutely phenomenal. Iowa was kept in the game by the best scorer in the country getting a lot of points. Then they took advantage of some late lapses.

That could cost them their football title.

I don’t think the refs cost us that game. They were not good today, but I didn’t feel like it favored one Iowa per se.

That one really hurt. We were the better team for 37 minutes but Keegan kept them within striking distance, then a few late lapses and we lose. Really happy with how these guys fought in Indy. I think these guys will still be on a mission a week from now; keep the run going guy!
