Like you I was never on the overblown Zion hype train. I thought he would be a good player but not the next can't miss great one. If he ever puts his weight problems and injury issues behind him he will have a good career, but I think Morant will have a better one. You have to feel bad for the Pelicans, there are already rumors that he doesn't want to play there and some think that he won't play for them again. Davis wanting out and Zion never playing they can't catch a break.

I think that is one of the biggest problems with the Hoosiers offense. When Trayce or Race pass it out of the post the shooters either clank it or the wrong guy is shooting it. Trayce has become really good at finding the open man out of the post, the only problem is when he does, they miss the shot more often than not. 👍

It is kind of nice to see a game that is not a slugfest and a parade to the free-throw line.

All after school events were canceled here also, and all we got was rain most of the day and about an inch of snow so far, which looks like it is tapering off now. The rain was starting to freeze a little bit but turned to snow before it did.

With this win PSU will only be a game behind the Hoosiers in the B1G with a new coach also. Their next three games are all winnable. The Hoosiers really need to start getting some wins so they don't finish towards the bottom of the league. 😞

If Trayce and Race are gone next season Woodson definitely needs to bring an impact player or three in with the portal. Those guys coming in will be good players for the Hoosiers but they are freshman so you can't completely rely on them.

What it all boils down to is Knight is a top 5 coach of all time, you aren't going to fire him without extenuating circumstances - i.e., the Neil Reed situation. Especially a coach that was still winning games, just not at the bar he set. It's not really that hard to understand.

Coach Woodson in my opinion doesn't have the typical 4 or 5 years some coaches have to turn things around. With the portal and his age and experience people are going to expect a lot quicker turn around, whether warranted or not. If the Hoosiers miss the tourney this season and next, then sitting on the bubble by year three it could get toxic fast.

I'm lucky since Ayo is on the Bulls, I can still hate him lol. 😁 I just seen today the numbers that DeRozan is putting up and it is kind of crazy. I've always thought he was just kind of and ok player, good but not great, but this season he should probably be in the running for MVP.

Yeah I liked how they played tonight, they played with energy and were decisive with their cuts and movement when Haliburton was in. Once they add their lottery pick and trade Brogdon they will have some nice young pieces. Duarte, Haliburton, Jackson and their lotto pick is a nice young core to build around.

Tonight was the first I have watched the NBA in quite a while, so I hadn't seen really seen Haliburton play much but watching him tonight he looks like a star PG in the making to me. He had 14 assist in the victory tonight, and is averaging 20 points and 10 assist in the 4 games since the trade. The Pacers have a nice young backcourt developing with Duarte and Haliburton.

I live in the northern part of the state and see mostly IU basketball and ND football for college sports. Occasionally I will see a Purdue fan but to be honest I see more Kentucky fans then Boiler fans.

Curbelo is easily one of the most overrated players in the B1G.

To be honest as much as I hate Purdue, and I despise them, I don't care what they are doing right now, all I care about right now is that IU can somehow turn it around and make the tourney. Missing it would be a big setback for the Hoosiers. The fact that I don't know many Boiler fans probably helps because I never have to hear about them when they are winning lol.

Anyone wanting Trayce gone is hitting the bottle a little too hard. You can tell he loves IU and his teammates; he will probably go down as one of my favorite Hoosiers of all time.

It was frustrating, at times the Hoosiers looked good, but when the full bench subs came in they didn't look so good. The last couple of minutes they looked like a rec league team.

The players gaining experience and improving themselves also has something to do with it.

Also Trayce, Race, Jordan and Trey have all improved so yeah the talent is definitely better on the team this season.

I would be surprised if Fife wasn't the next coach when Woodson retires.

If you have been on this forum for a while that is one person you should take with a grain of salt on his opinion on IU and its coaches. He is an IU fan that is always kind of testy towards the Hoosiers LOL.

Ok admittedly I might have missed it, but I haven't seen many on here say this. Some are frustrated with this team, players and coaches deservedly so, but most know he deserves time to turn it around.

The one thing that frustrates me the most is that this team while not the most talented still has enough talent to be a tourney team but is starting to look like they might miss it again. And next season MIGHT not be any better, there is a good possibility Trayce, Race and Rob are gone. Coach Woodson needs to kill it with the portal this off season.

I'm frustrated with Coach Woodson at times, especially with his substitutions, having all starters out twice and we end up losing the lead. Also it seems like this team is never ready to play the last 5 or 10 minutes of the game which goes back to not being mentally tough and falls back on everyone, players and coaches. But like you said there is no way he is on the hot seat or that he should be on it. As frustrated as I am, and to be honest not completely sold on him he deserves time to get things going. 👍
