so does anyone have a player comparison?
In our 4 out, 1 in offense that we are supposedly trying to move towards, is he definitely going to be the 1 in?

He committed to arkansas

I miss those days when you got 4 years out of a player like Calbert Cheaney.
You also get 4 years of Pat Knight but yea I would prefer less roster turnover

That article reads like Dallas replaced him while he was grieving for the death of his father. Doesn't really explain what exactly happened there and seems odd since it reads like there was no communication between Henry and the Cowboys.

Don't disagree.
This is the 3rd guy with DIRECT NFL ties we've hired though. Wellman, Johnson and now Henry.
Technically 4th even though he has left. McCullough was with KC.

Yep. Interesting that Benson, a 2 time All-American and NBA #1 overall pick is not making many rosters, and I'm not sure he's been listed as a starter in any. Part of that is the rules are forcing people towards TJD, but still.
I would have done Benson but had trouble finding a 4 to choose so went with Abernethy. Then picked May over Benson since I was limited to 2 per team.

2 player limit per team. You have Abernathy, May, and Wilkerson from '76.
Just saw that. looking for who to switch.
Edit: Fixed it.

I'm just going to follow the rules
Starters
1) Isiah Thomas (80-81)
2) Steve Alford (86-87)
3) Victor Oladipo (12-13)
4) Tom Abernethy (75-76)
5) Trayce Jackson-Davis (21-22)
Bench: Scott May (75-76), Ray Tolbert (80-81), Yogi Ferrell (12-13)

Clam down its a figure of speech, i'm not calling Durr a pig.. I'm glad I didnt use you can put whipped cream on a pile of s@$# but its still a pile of S@%#. The point is people saying Race and TJD should leave and not play the years aloud because we have Durr aren't very bright.
Yea, the person wanting Race and TJD to leave was nuts.
I think Durr could be a serviceable starter but obviously wouldn't be the focal point of our offense or at least not near as much as TJD and Race are this year.
It's curious that Woodson thinks we will have that many open spots but no point in trying to guess which players are leaving.

Durr also did not play a single minute in the 2 games in between these games. You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig.
That's a bit harsh.

Looks like he alternated between being a running backs coach and a quarterbacks coach. Although for the past 2 years he was a senior analyst at Maryland.
Has a lot of experience. Hopefully turns out to be a good hire.

WTF are we talking about Purdue coeds in an Indiana recruiting thread? So f’ing annoying opening up a thread expecting some info and have nothing but shat posted. Go find another place to talk about this shat
so purdue coed shat...does it smell different than other shat or is all the shat the same.... if they shat in west laffy, could you really tell given the overall smell of the entire city?

a bit late to the transfer party. Wonder why he is leaving

He played on the edge in HS. I didn’t see a single dropback pass rush on his highlight reel though so it’s kinda hard to tell just how quick he is. He’s definitely lean for 266lbs, moves well, hits hard and a very good motor.
Odd to have all those offers but only visited IU and Tulane. of course. who knows how accurate the info is on 247. Rivals doesn't even have Indiana in his list of schools or having visited anybody. So 247 wins this one for having better info between the two sites.

SMH….just leave it alone.
It's no different then when coaches say they are staying. History shows it is hardly reliable.
2 of the 3 sons are at IU now. It would likely be an uncomfortable situation if everyone around them thought they were going to bounce to another school. If they aren't leaving school mid-semester, it would be expected for them to say they are staying at IU regardless of what they end up doing.
It's good news that they reaffirmed their commitments but it is fair to take the statements with a grain of salt. With the transfer rules, it's hard to expect anyone to stay for their entire college career with any confidence.

Well considering the signing period for 23 is typically in the fall and some wait til the spring of next year that is not bad at all. Also allows him to see how our year plays out. I'd be thrilled to know by April as if he comes to the states and gets more visability other schools could make inroads. Wrap him up before he even comes over.
If i was a recruit, I would mess with people and announce on April 1st so everyone would question it.

Article answers a lot of questions that have been raised here. I like this excerpt-
“A great school, a great system. The fans and the atmosphere, it’s unique,” Packalén said of the experience at IU. “The town of Bloomington, it’s all about basketball. It’s just one of those things that you need to be there to really feel it. It was unbelievable. The people throughout the schools visits have been great, but the fans (at Indiana) are just crazy in a good way, I think. I know for a fact that whatever Miro chooses, I’ll be an Indiana fan for life just because of the environment that they’ve been able to create there. It’s perfect.”
His time in Bloomington also allowed him to spend time with Mike Woodson, who has been everywhere Little wants to go as a player.
With his goal of playing in the NBA, it’s no surprise that Woodson’s experience there appeals to Little.
“Coach Woodson’s presence, just when he speaks and Miro sits there and listens and tries to take all of it in,” Packalén said. “The charisma, it’s very powerful. The knowledge that he has, not only from the game itself but the business as a whole, it’s very unique.”
According to Packalén, her son wants to wait until his season concludes to make a decision on where he’ll attend college. That could be as late as April, depending on how far HBA advances in the playoffs.
April?

I didn't say it was....but in the original post on this topic, it was as if it was a waste of time to even talk to Little. I am not saying send all over resources to Finland, but if we get told about a player, like this...I do think it is worth our time to recruit them.
Then you and the other poster were debating 2 different things.
2022 PF Malik Reneau Commits to INDIANA!!!

It will depend on the guards and being able to shoot.
If TJD returns, I'm not sure this moves the needle much this coming year. We aren't starting TJD, Race AND Reneau so this would provide some nice depth. It will be hard to keep them all happy if we just have 1 big in at a time though.
If TJD doesn't return, then it's much needed depth (assuming we stick with 1 big (Race or Reneau).
