He was a projected future first rounder not a one and done. Important part of the argument. Ware was soft he’s no longer soft. TJD developed passing and ball handling in 1 year. TJD no doubt worked his ass off. How much of all this is Woody? Who knows. 

I knew this might get bad but I gave Woody a chance until Feb 1st. I never would’ve imagined it would get this bad. When I saw Woody at that last sectional game with his wife all I could see was a proud grandpa and grandma. It almost looked like she was knitting. I mean that as respectful as I can but I can’t unsee it. Money has hurt IU athletics like Knight said it would. He knew they couldn’t handle 40 years ago.

That to me is obvious. The BOT and alumni association isn’t on the same page as the athletic department. 2 camps this week putting nuggets out to the usual suspects. It’s painful to watch. The other problem is there are to many leaks in the closed meetings. To many yes men. Too much nepotism and buddy’s running around. Toxic environment all around. Same problem different decade. Honestly, KathywithaC (again, great name) does have logical points. The main one, why would Dolson wage war on the administration? That's career suicide. Not only at IU, but if he wanted to be AD anywhere else, it may not be the best idea to start blowing shit up - so to speak. AND the season is not even over yet. 

I've mentioned before that we need to remember there are some very egotistical boosters that push narratives as a way to turn up the heat. I swear these leaks always originate from boosters who play like they have clout, when they don't. Some can be a bunch of chatty Kathy's (with a K), who like to stir shit up. 

I'm not claiming I have any inside info at all....I'm just looking at the historical batting average of rumors surrounding program altering decisions. It's not good. 

I think it's safe to assume Woody is on the hot seat simply because this team is horrible and our roster outlook is bleak. BUT I am skeptical to the degree of this Dolson/QB feud. Sure they may disagree on the future of Woody, but is Dolson deliberately creating a smear campaign? Seems a bit far-fetched. Does he have Pearl waiting in the wings? Please. He may be interested in Pearl and rightfully so.....doesn't mean he has him close to being in the bag....especially as he's getting his top 15 team ready for the post season. 

Why would Rabby and the rest put those things out? They always do what the athletic department says to do. Now Kathy just shows up out of nowhere. It’s a PR battle.

I don’t think Dolson is a guy who will make a decision based on fans. I also think with expansion, NIL and changing landscape might hasten the decision though. This imho isn’t the give him 5 years landscape anymore. I’ve changed my thinking on this too. This isn’t a “he deserves one more year” environment anymore. It’s dog eat dog. IU can’t waste time. If Dolson has a home run guy like a Roy or Cal on the horn then you move. I think that’s what he’s trying to do.
