I agree but like it or not that is the reputation we have outside of our fan base. Sometimes perception becomes reality. Also when you are losing all the other coaches will use this in recruiting. Besides UK fans you never see anything nationally about other fan bases being lunatics.
Fan means fanatic
Every fan base has idiots
Many Purdue fans want MP fired
If I were you guys I’d want a change
What do you lose by firing CMW?
recruits 😐
momentum 🚽
Once the program loses momentum it’s hard to get it back

MP?
Developed Edey from 400+ best recruit to two time National Player of the year?
Developed Braden from App State level to All Big Ten in 18 months?
Lost to a bunch of double digit seeds!
I give the players most of the creditI give MP credit for using them correctly
He has owned the NCAA misery

Marcus Greene...6'2 dynamic scoring PG entered the portal today. 43% from 3.
One other thing I saw last night and maybe someone closer to the situation can explain. AJ Storr kissed the court when he was done. He said he was just doing it for Wahl but someone to keep an eye on along with 500 others.
He’s shopping for 💰💰💰

Jacks a stud man. 6'6 right now, might still be growing. weights 205lbs+... athletically he's gotten a lot better.
SHOT MAKER
Good passer
I met them at Mackey earlier this year…definitely over 6’5”

So what exactly did Dane Fife get fired for? Was his performance and work ethic worse than Woodson's? Should the same standards be applied to all of the coaches at Indiana?
I smell a rat!
I think he actually wanted to go out and scout local players…..instead of use the top 50 👟 💰 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ agents propaganda
You have to wonder how much Lebron influenced Bronny & Gabe high placement

I'm not going to get on here and defend Jack. I don't need to.
Anyone doesn't think he can play... Go watch him. All I got.
SW compared Jack to a Pat Graham/DB combo. Plenty of ❤️DB = Damon Bailey I assume

The offensive rebounding was kind of my point. He takes 4 shots per game, I'd imagine 1-2 of those are offensive rebounds and maybe another 1 is maybe a PnR and then maybe 1-2 on post ups (probably when Edey is sitting)?
The main point was that I don't think anybody would categorize Purdue's offense as a 3-out/double post offense.
That's not their system.
It’s more Braden high pick n roll or motion horns, zoom or Spain
Still not convinced TKR is above average on defense or shooting
you can go 5 wide in football or 5 out in basketball but it still comes down to line play (blocking & tackling) & rebounding & defense
now get off my lawn 🥱

TKR gets some Bill Cartwright touches early….then sits for a while

Got it. Gabe Sularski from Benet. 6’5/6’6 wing. Big recruit.
Lanky lefty with a nice touch
Average athleticism but solid length
Will he grow into a SF?
Can’t have enough long wings who can create & shoot

Heard Shrews wants Galloway at ND.
Purdue offered him plus he’s from up there
Sleepers guy said Furst was the Purdue guy who was leaving
Would be a great add for Shrews
PS. Love Furst & Galloway… hope they got degrees

Purdue is the best team with the best coach in the conference by a wide margin.
They have everything they need to win it all this year.
💯. Crazy to think #276 3 point shooting team is #1or2 a year later adding a 29% shooter from the valley
Luck, hard work…shot selection?
It only takes another 5-26 with 16 turnovers to get bounced

If Illini are a 4/5 seed
good luck to the 1 seed in that bracket

High level game, credit Purdue for hitting the big shots. Couple of 50/50 balls late that ended up with Purdue 3s that really hurt. 8 3s in the 2nd half for Purdue, 0 for Illinois, amazing it was close.
Domask is a mother
Zach was splitting FT. I might have fouled….muck it up

Man. Braden Smith. Watched him in high school as most did....but love that kid. Scary thing about Purdue is the balance now with Jones....I don't want to say much more or I'll have to turn in my IU card.
Many on here said it….offer him now
If you couldn’t see it from sophomore to senior jump….

Cool to see Michigan St NET ranking jump after another loss. 3 losses in a row....2 at home to Iowa and Ohio St and they improve. Got it NET rankings. Joke.
If they beat what’s left of NW and lose at IU and first BTT are they really a lock?

Always...
They act like they're on some UCLA type run...
Like I said, we're 3-3 against them in the Woody era...and they've lost to double digit seeds the last 2 years...
If that's the zenith of Purdue basketball... 🤣
It's going to be enjoyable next year watching them play without Edey...
I wonder if Painter has put in for Berg's lane parking pass yet?
No matter what happens it’s my school!
Unless we cheat or recruit jerks who don’t play hard & go to class I’ll be just fine
Its 18-22 year olds playing a sport

Lol. No matter how “nice” Purdue fans and posters are, it always eventually comes back to this, doesn’t it?
Just for the record—and I can’t speak for the younger generations—those of us my age (pushing 60) and older are not jealous. I’ve seen IU win 3 championships and go to 5 Final Fours (I don’t remember the ‘73 Final Four). For those too young to have witnessed those, maybe there is some jealousy. Only they know.
But the thing for us older folks, we understand that even elite programs have down periods. Kansas stunk when I was a kid until Larry Brown brought them back. Alabama football was down for quite a while. UCLA basketball. It happens.
No doubt, Purdue is really good this year. Better than last year. They could win it all. But they entered this season with only two consecutive 20-win seasons, just like us. But one would never guess that from all the talk. When you have 50 years of college basketball in your memory bank, the past couple years seem like 5 minutes. It doesn’t really move the needle, as folks here like to say.
To me, the comparison to Alabama football is instructive. Alabama went through many coaches over a couple decades. Auburn, their rival, got to talk some smack for a while. They even won a title. I think we all know when Indiana decides to pull its head out of its hind-end like Alabama eventually did, things will be back to close to the way they were. And I bet when that happens, Purdue is going to realize what an opportunity they missed. Because at least Auburn won a championship.
Those programs all cheated….

1. Purdue Athletics is a joke🏆🏆 🏆
2. If getting 4 year guys who value academics & athletics means no NC I’ll survive.
Purdue is my school not a T-shirt I bought at WalmartNot saying I’m a better fan…but I care about the school & academics
Never been embarrassed to tell anyone worldwide I’m a Purdue Alum
PS I was in MSA
