I think people know my thoughts on NET....but I'm also saying over years maybe the NET rankings are spot on....but this year the variance means the data that goes into the formula needs tightening. That's my problem is all.

Very, very important piece. This can be a relatively quick fix if MM comes back along with TG, Portal,etc...

No clue but if Odunze or Nabers falls to 9 I think you have to take one of them. If not...trade back to a spot where you still get one of the 3 edge guys to be opposite of Sweat while getting more picks.

1st of many kick in the nuts. I have BYU in over half of my Survivor pool entries and that 3 from Sparty cost me a square. Oh how we love March.....

44 years ago today the Who Shot JR episode aired...

Kind of a weird one but Kadyn Proctor (former Bama Olineman) who Iowa was accused of tampering with this season....decided to go back to Bama after enrolling at Iowa. Kicker is he did some NIL stuff for some car dealerships and got paid while at Iowa now he's headed back to Bama.

That might have been one of the most brutal games I've watched. I don't know the exact time but I'm pretty sure Virginia didn't score for at least 45 real time minutes. Tony Bennett who made the tourney 1 time in his first 4 years on the job....now has 5 first round exits of the tourney of the 10 he's made. I don't want to hear about his coaching genius anymore from national media or even a few of the local experts. He's Trent Dilfer. Or Joe Flacco. 1 season doesn't make Hall of Fame.

Shocker...Kansas and Self sold a bill of goods. Maybe they win one..max.

Houston Mallette from Pepperdine officially commits to Bama. Easily one of the top 10 guards in the portal. Bama adding some talent for sure for next year.

I think we posted at same time so it wasn't directly at you by any means. Just a general comment on all the threads. Season has been disappointing for sure but the decision has been made and we move forward....it just seems like whether it's a specific recruit or portal or any of the other threads the folks that hate our staff get in those threads as well. Again just my two cent opinion. Back to the portal talk. Heard some guys talking today that the average portal cost right now for 3-4 starters is 7 figures. What a world all of the adults have created. Geez.

Gang....this is only coming from me. If this thread is for portal....can we keep it on portal. Not some backhanded, backdoor approach to slam our staff....there's a thread for that, right?

Anyone ever Air Fryer their haddock or other fish? I bought a larger one so I can two going one for main and one for sides....and just curious what success people have had using Air Fryer/Panko,etc....recipes for fish.

I keep forgetting BYU and the Sunday rule thing. That's why they ended up as 6 when they were listed as best 5 seed.

I'll have to dive in later but man UConn, Iowa St, Illinois, and Auburn is the toughest. West is a joke....and contrary to our local friend Purdue's region is a very, very easy path unless Kansas is truly healthy. If not the toughest tests are a Tennessee team who has choked more than Illinois in tournament play and a Creighton team that we just don't know about. One day great one day suck. Kentucky a 3 is laughable with Auburn being a 4. Sparty being a 9 is comedy hour but the people who built NET have to justify it somehow. BYU at 6 seems like they were underseeded.

There were 3-4 additional teams that wanted Fields but Bears did right by him and sent him where he wanted to go. Kind of a good move by the Bears.

I guess I just missed this last week. So Temple was accused of point shaving and it's essentially a nonstory anymore? They didn't cover a game from Dec 2nd to January 24 and usually Vegas is pretty good at their stuff. I guess a couple of Thursday's ago their line vs UAB started off -1.5 and ended up being -8 at tip with no injuries or suspensions. That sort of movement is unheard of. Guess I just missed it.

$10M buyout to go internal seems like a football school move. I will say this though some of the sets Diebler draws up are really good. You throw in portal and NIL resources and it could work but going internal is just odd.

Welp. That was one crazy day of hoops. From NC State to Long Beach St and Dan Monson (who was fired this week) getting in.....Temple one win from getting in with a 12-19 record, New Mexico winning automatic bid. I'm afraid Indiana St, Virginia, probably St Johns, and some others all had their bubbles burst with the bid thieves.

Used to hang with Sherron at IU during his time....saw all the ups and downs but couldn't be more happier for him as a person and a Coach. With what they have coming back they should have state aspirations next year.

Family bloodlines. For those that remember what Anderson used to be back late 80's and early 90's...you'll remember Randy Zachary. Pretty sure Cooper is his nephew. Long history of great hoops players in that family.

Best part of his organization is the food costs. Otherwise.....no bueno.
