The non-IU National Tournament thread…
thirdgenhoosier replied to Steubenhoosier's topic in General Basketball Discussion
KSU takes some really stupid shots. -
Good lord, what a crappy start to the game.
-
I saw him play for Carmel a couple of years ago and even though he came off the bench, he was Carmel's best player. He impacted every phase of the game...got blocks, steals, locked down on defense, but had some scoring ability. He's not the same size, but his play kinda reminded me of OG...just talking style and the way he could turn the course of a game in a blink. I loved him as a high school player...have no idea if he's legit top 50...just saw him play only twice.
-
He got out rebounded 17-8 by a 6’ 7 forward. At one point Miami scored on six straight possessions after offensive rebounds. Not all of that is on Trayce of course but he shouldn’t get a free pass tonight.
-
What a luxury it is to have a player like Scalia coming off the bench.

LMAO at you. Come over her to make fun of an IU fan after you got run by a 16. -
I'm hoping for a little more length up front...speaking of Sparks.

I see Iowa players have been watching a lot of soccer to go down like they've been shot. -
Colts are signing Minshew.
-
Meh. I'm sure there is going to be disagreement and that's fine, but his production is replaceable. Now, maybe not with the people currently on the roster, but this departure doesn't move the needle much for me.
-
Maybe they were but PC was wanting to move on?

Sorry if posted elsewhere and I missed it but MH was named first team AA. Well deserved for sure! -
You forgot the fact that Purdue just passed the University of Chicago in total Big Ten championships. Congrats.
-
Colts have released Matt Ryan. Frees up $17 million in cap space.
-
I can agree with that but you said you hopefully Ballard uses some money on a WR. So you’re just talking about bringing Campbell back?
-
I agree with you if you believe the Colts WR room needs an upgrade. But curious who you want them to go get. I don’t see any game changers at the position with this year’s free agents. Maybe Adam Theilen but his numbers are tailing off and I’m guessing he would want to go to a contender at this point in his career.
-
You forgot the Raiders. They were Super Bowl bound according to many in the media. I’ll never forget the Eagles and their “dream team” some years ago. Yeah they fizzled too. I have seen some media reports saying this is the weakest free agent class in memory.

Good listen. Thanks for posting. We'd better be ready. -
Leonard is better when healthy. I don’t consider him an inside LB. And, most importantly, I never said that was a good deal either. Oh, and I wasn’t conversing about the Colts. I was trying to talk about the Bears.
