I think so but look at these net worths:

    Nike- $31 billion

    Adidas- $36 billion

    Under armour- $3 billion

Even Puma had 8 billion. That’s an uphill battle for UA.

I understand, but....i.....mean....3 billion?!  You can't rifle through the couch and throw 250k at a kid to get that exposure and money for your school?  means like it would be a pretty easy negotiation for indiana if they ever came talking to me (assuming I was sitting on billions).

Maryland has continued to stay in the lead as others have already said. That said recruiting is fluid and IU is staying in the fight. The longer his recruitment drags out post Maryland visit the better chance I think IU will have to make a move at improving their chances.

Besides being the hometown school, do they have something we don't?  I get they are in the lead, and i trust what i've heard from a variety of sources, but what do they offer him besides being close to home?

our guys saying its IU(our insiders on here and BTB), a few outside of our guys saying its UK(sterling, Sweeney).  looks like its truly 50/50 here.  buckle up.

this is truly the part of the recruitment where no one knows a damn thing because no one is actually talking to the kid.  No more visits, no more in-home visits, just speculation.  I think the relationship with Woodson pulls through here, just my thoughts from the very-outside looking in.

Depends on what you'll be needing. Kids/no kids. Schools/no schools/ Want home or looking for maintenance free living. I've lived in Carmel since I left IU in 95. I have friends all over the area.  If you provide a little more what you need we could help out for sure. Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville....all the usual suspects are great. However I will say that the construction projects going on with I69/Northeast Indy will be going on for years. If you choose Fishers or up that way just know that's something you'll be facing.

Otherwise welcome back to the area. Great area to be in for a major city but in some regards still feels like a small town.

Didn't know you lived in Naples. We are in Lely Resort often. Not a bad time to move back from Naples....take that loot and run haha.

your last sentence hits the nail on the head lol.  We hate the heat and the amount of people moving here, so we are going to cash in while we can.  Honestly, we are just looking for a nice community (if you're familiar with naples you know what i'm talking about).  Doesn't have to be ritzy or anything, but we also would like a well-maintained area that doesn't have a lot of eyesores.  Also, location to plenty of career options is important to us.  We will be visiting next weekend, but I wanted to gather as much intel as possible.

  5. Hey everyone, my wife and I are moving back to Indiana (I'm originally from Richmond, IN) from Naples, FL.  I know from growing up in Indiana that the suburbs you always hear about are usually the best ones and most desirable (Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, etc.)  I was wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts on some areas that I may not know about (haven't been home in 15 years).  If you have any current knowledge of some safe, well-maintained areas, we'd greatly appreciate any feedback.  Thank you.

  6. I think we're a better team this year, and I don't really think it's close.  That is based on POTENTIAL.  Obviously nothing to go off of film wise, but athletically, shooting, and defensively I think we are already better just with the bodies we have.  Buy in to the system from the new guys and we are talking about a top 15 team in the thick of things in March 2024.

I don't think AL is ever going to see the floor except on Senior Night.  Then he will move on with is life and probably make a ton of money in his career.  But it won't be from playing basketball.

you're almost certainly correct, but i root for the kid to get an opportunity.

Leal isn't a shooter, by any stretch.

Given that i've seen him play about 4 minutes of action in his career, i'd have to take your word for it.  but coming out of HS, wasn't that his whole gig?  I mean, how does it just disappear? there has to be some confidence left right?
