Sure, IU can offer a more featured role offensively, but at Kansas you are all but assured a top 10 ranking all season, conference title, legit shot at a conference tournament title and a top 2 seed in the Tournament. 

So many other things are equal or maybe even slightly in IU's favor, but the above is a big one IMO. 

I'm in agreement, with one caveat.  Why visit st. johns then?  You know that's not a tournament team at the time of the visit.  IU, with or without MM, is more than likely a tournament team.  He puts us back into the top 25 discussion, with another signing likely putting us into top 10-15 range.  There's too much to evaluate on this one and my head hurts thinking about it.  can't wait to get it over with lol.

we are somewhere in between watching race thompson shoot free throws at the end of the game against michigan and JHS @ Purdue. Not sure we are leaning either way though.

I'm in total agreement, then I take a look at the rest of the threads where we are talking about recruiting guys in '25 and '26, those are years long recruitments lol.  this has been like 2 weeks and i'm dead.  I don't blame the kid if he takes another week to figure out what he wants, but it's a very tight timeline for a recruitment. 

when a 247 CB comes in, i'll listen.  Then i'll rejoice, or grab the bottle and reminiscence.
