On this front again. This guy is for sure someone in really deep. Ant Wright who is also fairly connected himself actually posted about how this account rarely wrong. The the basically trusts it more than any of his contacts. Then someone said “well, he was wrong on Love.” Ant replied “nothing was made up about Love.” Some more stuff and basically saying something is going on there and others may not be willing to run with it yet. Should we care? Probably not but interesting. Short version, believe him or not but if this account says something it is probably 95% true. Oh, he also said we were in on Walker like 2 weeks before anyone had heard anything. It was totally out of the blue when I read it at the time.

Huh… is this directed at my question? I find that odd in many ways if so because plenty have cared about my posts but I wasn’t asking because I care if people do or don’t. I was asking because it appears many dismiss all of it and that is cool. I am more thinking if you dismiss all of it then kind of pointless to follow any of it until a commit and comment each time someone posts a Twitter that you don’t believe it, etc. if you believe some of them then why do you? What should be posted here? I’m I am truly trying to get a read and better understand.

Genuine question for all that think every guy never knows anything. Does that apply to just Twitter guys, Instagram etc. or do you believe the Rabby’s or each respective team? What about so called insiders that post here? I am asking because I get it if you say you don’t believe any of them. But what makes someone legit in your book if you believe some? fyi… the Kansas 247 guy is the one who started Kansas belief that it is over

We all have our opinions and feelings on this but the guy does truly have a huge hit rate. Better than any 247 guy. It is probably someone like Goodman posting under a burner account. with that, fyi, there was more than him saying there is something going on with Love. That he hasn’t actually signed yet which is odd. So it does make it a legit question he was posing.

Found this interesting. No… based on recent comments, I promise, I am not trying to win the argument. I truly want some of the hard lined thinking on this subject to realize this is the thing. It will help when we lose guys and wonder why. Our facilities, athlete perks and NiL are not quite in line with some of these schools. For some recruits it won’t matter. For some, maybe it just leaves them with a different impression and sways them. Do I think this is the main reason for Hunter going to Kansas, hell no. But, he did mention it as part of his interview with Kyle Tucker. He said Kansas blew away UK. Then, lot like many of our fans, the Twitter UK crowd went nuts. “I find it hard to believe we don’t have one of the best in the country” if you take the time to read all the layers of this tweet he is giving many examples. Where do we think UK facilities rank compared to IU? If they are not even top 50 (Seth Greenberg comment) then are we? Massive facilities upgrades and crazy NIL is for sure changing the landscape with some also ran schools in prior years. The biggest way you overcome is developing for NBA. This year helped a lot for us there.

There is already some great options that will visit soon enough. I also think many will be surprised on the extra rush of talent coming back from NBA that will no have a home. We will have a great couple adds here no doubt. Only question left is B+, A-, A+ adds. Going to be a crazy few weeks and those NBA likely guys are known and being worked already

On Mgbako, I think it is hilarious that the entire Kansas universe convinced themselves he was committing today, then it is tomorrow, now it is, he is just having fun on a visit. 🤣 this was all because their 247 guy sold them he knew. I think I would rather read other tea leaves on these portal guys. The batting averages is not good for the “insiders” I think with money, condensed timelines etc are invoked they are reaching a lot. I still feel great based on where we sit and some guys he is connected to for us.

Back on Mgbako, Kansas is just doing what we do. He scheduled his Louisville visit during his Kansas visit. He didn’t commit. We are so emotionally scarred as fans. still feel he takes every visit like he himself said he would. Kansas makes no sense when you add why he left Duke. Also, a lot here trust Rabby (more than I do) but he said early on it was 3 horse raise and Kansas didn’t have a shot. seems like we just need to wait this one out.

Continuing to tell really smart posters what they don't understand - when they pretty clearly do understand - is confusing and a bit irritating. Yeah, is that mainly ON3 again? I am seeing that portal season seems to be very different from normal recruiting. So many not going to the lock or lean. Ledlum, Knecht and many more. I have to imagine it is a lot harder getting info in these recruitments. Lot of people guessing and losing. I don’t think that Kansas visit was that great no matter what the 24/7 guy said. Too many things don’t add up there. Only the mom, short visit, no social follows (did with St John’s) etc. just seems like that was a typical 24/7 Rabby like write up. “We feel we are in great position, family loved the visit, might not even go to others, etc.” Then message boards go nuts. It all depends on timing, context, how active that user is, not just follows but likes, follows and follow backs outside of players and coaches etc. but it is not just as simple as this player follows this guy. There is a reason I said Mgbako was in play for us before it came out of nowhere to everyone else. Doenst make me some insider like Zion. If I was, I would have been wrong on that. Is it an exact science, hell no, but again, this is how recruiting is done now and we can choose to try and read things that give us hints or don’t. Right now, Woody has really clamped down on info getting out so this is one of the few ways you can find some info. But have to be careful how it is read.
