  1. Pretty sure that's it: https://iuhoosiers.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster#sidearm-roster-coaches
  2. He's an Archie leftover, so not surprising. Turnover like this is bound to happen.
  3. We have to recruit with and for the big boys, no more playing around. IU is going the direction of targeting elite recruits nationwide, pitching the NBA connections of Woody, targeting guys from IMG and Montverde, going all in with NIL. That said, it is very possible Woodson/IU is not successful but I don't believe the old school approach will get you to the Final Four on a regular basis anymore. Most of the current coaches in the Big Ten are proving that. Painter etc. were really cocky about getting old, staying old, taking no transfers, etc. but at the end of the day those programs can't run the table in the tournament. Eventually they run into teams stocked with NBA talent and lose. The guys on the Final Four teams are athletic, can handle the ball and shoot. The Wisconsin/Purdue type teams have really good role players that know system well but very few NBA level guys. They are very well coached, do really good in conference, win 25 games but usually can't get over the hump against the elite teams. Big Ten has only won 3 NC's in the last 40 years. Everyone talks about IU "dusty banners" but IU has the third most recent NC in the Big Ten which is only two years behind the second most recent - U of M in '89. Long story short, if you want IU to succeed and play for Championships, you have to get on board with them going after big time recruits, not copying the Wisky/PU approach (as of now).
  4. He got arrested, embarrassed, and is in a lot of trouble. I think the an appropriate punishment would = $$$ (fines/court/lawyer costs), suspended license, community service, and a lot of running. However, I don't think he should be kicked off the team nor would my opinion change if it was Duncomb.
  5. I think that's X's address. Either way, as mentioned above, wherever 50 is the speed limit isn't going to a high pedestrian area.
  6. I think for programs of this caliber, if they were to drop off, it wouldn't happen overnight. 3-4 years will be a good indicator.
  7. Running a stop sign, speeding, not using your turn signal, DUI etc. anything you do in a car can kill someone. The worst thing he did in this situation was not stopping for the cops. This wouldn't be a story if that didn't happen. And by your attempted murder logic, punching someone would be a murder charge.
  8. I wouldn't really know if IU has more WTF situations, I don't follow other programs very closely, but that's semi my point, I'd guess most programs have their share of issues, it's just most programs' fans don't care as much as ours. Every story/issue isn't talked about for weeks nor do they probably have a former player negatively flaming fans constantly, calling on fans to take sides against writers, coaches, the administration or players.
  9. I agree to a certain extent, but some of this drama is just overdramatized by fans. I think IU fans are so passionate that anytime anything happens, they take it very personally. Some older fans are very hypocritical (Knight era), some just feel burned by Sampson, but most are just frustrated with the inconsistency ie not winning enough. If they were winning and/or had a deeper team, I would bet most would just say "see you later X" and I don't think that's cool. Like the old saying, "you don't throw the baby out with bathwater". If Woody thinks it's best for the program to move on, do it, he and the staff know best imho.
  10. That’s for Woody to decide, not the mob.
  11. He definitely deserves to be punished, but kicked off the team seems a little drastic and don't think that should or will happen. He'll plea to a lesser charge, do community service or whatever. Not sure why this isn't enough for people to be honest. Players get trashed and knock people out, they don't get kicked off the team.
  12. Seems like this story is the police report, so I would say they are listing the facts based on what the police believe them to be: https://www.wishtv.com/sports/college-basketball/iu-point-guard-xavier-johnson-arrested-for-reckless-driving-resisting-law-enforcement/
  13. Because some people have to be pissed off about every single thing. Another person was complaining about a lack of moves so far this off season. I'm like what??? A 24 hour news cycle doesn't mean there is IU news 24 hours a day, nor is every move a disaster. I wanted Matta at IU too though.
  14. He’s not better than Ivey, and he’s not coming to IU. We beat PU with Ivey, should have beaten them twice, we can beat them with him and Big Shot Rob. Bring it on!! 😉
  15. Yes. Ranked 8th nationally in 2020. Would be a huge get. I would assume they are all over this.
  16. Also, not sure if this was posted previously: https://footballscoop.com/news/sources-indiana-hoosiers-bringing-back-former-player But it seems like we're trying to give Hiller some help So maybe CTA is listening to everyone after all.
  17. I agree, but Woody was also being stubborn. There were times when ANYONE else should have been playing. He gave those two a lot of leeway, but not others. Stewart was an underrated defensive player but man he had a tendency to lose his guy or foul a three at the worst times, not to mentioned he missed a lot of open threes. Kopp, very similar. IU was a different team when both contributed, but that was few and far between. The BIG is ripe for IU, just need an upgrade in talent, and I think Woody will do it.
  18. You don't find a jump shot over night. Al had a good season at Providence, Franklin ok at Virginia, but neither magically found their shooting touch. Rob is a player who's best offense is taking it to the hole, which isn't going to work well against better competition. I do love him and pulled for him as much as anyone and a change of scenario will most likely lessen the pressure, but I don't think he's going to shoot 40% from 3 next year. If I was him, I would find a similar situation like Al, a good program with less of a spotlight and zero expectations on him.
  19. https://www.insidethehall.com/2020/06/19/class-of-2022-forward-dante-davis-talks-iu-scholarship-offer/ but besides Louisville, I am pretty sure PU was the other favorite.
