Pretty sure they aren't going to say anything unless there's a public record (arrest). Sherron Wilkerson had his share of "run-ins" while at IU, both with players and others.

Not all of the guys were bad, but some were just very entitled rich guys who thought they were very cool...they were very not. Not your typical frat bro stereotype (at least in my house), but huge dorks who had money and no friends outside of the house. And most of those "friends" probably wouldn't be seen with them if they were not in the house. These guys were usually legacy.

My "sources" have reported he was suspended for fighting a frat guy. Everyone was assuming it was drugs (lots of Knight wouldn't tolerate this talk). So if nothing else, he doesn't take sh*t from some frat a**hole (I was in one, most of those dudes are not cool). So I like him even more.

Need some good news.

They scored 110 points in spite of 26 or whatever turnovers. This ain't rocket science. Woody isn't the only coach in the locker room or in the office for that matter. I think he'll be ok. Most college coaches bomb in the NBA not the other way around.

Who wanted the 50/50? Seems to me Penix shouldn't have been playing at all for a while and is something I have discussed with others. He was bad from the get go and didn't look mentally or physically ready. That's one thing I thought was really odd. Was Allen or Sheridan pushing him to play? Either way they had to know he wasn't ready and just throwing him out there was not good for the team or him.

Now this all sounds legit. Not sure if Sheridan crapped the bed or what, but he seemed like he was in way over his head. And I agree, I don't care if they hire a big school guy or not, I want someone who has been an OC for a while or at least has been one a few years with major success. I don't think Allen is on the hot seat, but another year of terrible offense and it's definitely going to warm up considerably.

Any rumblings?

This is all prediction stuff stated as fact 7 games in and quite frankly an odd take saying they can be good if they hit everything, like last night.

I guess we'll see. I'll never underestimate coaches like Boeheim.

I don't think either St. Johns nor Syracuse are crap teams.

I guess my point is, everyone is disappointed about the loss. But getting beat in double overtime by Syracuse or any reputable program with a hall of fame coach is not a bad loss, especially with a new coach and a new team. TOs can be cleaned up. Defense has been good up until this game. It’s their first real road game, a lot to learn but a lot to be optimistic about too. We have some shooters finally and some leadership.
