  1. What a wild game. This team has got heart. Lots to fix but a lot to be encouraged about. Lander made a few mistakes, but made some great passes and hit a huge three. I think this is going to be much more fun season than we've had in a while.
  2. Really? I get the connection, but it's not a deep one. I wonder what position? I think he could be a decent coach, but in all honesty I didn't think he showed much last year either. This year, there was definitely something odd going on regardless of the injury issues. The QBs seemed unprepared. The O-line was terrible. He's the OC, he needs to be accountable as does CTA. Everyone blames Hiller, but the OC needs to lead his guys and I wasn't seeing much leading out there. I saw people dying both literally and figuratively.
  3. His argument is iubb gets donor money, iufb does not. My argument would be the stadium improvements. But negativity is always more popular than positivity. In the end, we won't really know the whole truth. But I think the IU OC job is much more attractive these days. Need a good x's and o's guy, so I hope they get some one who thinks outside the box and who's had some success. This is a huge hire for CTA.
  4. I know who he is and he does bring good info, but I can’t believe they’d be that hamstrung. I don’t doubt that the new guy can’t fire everyone, but do they ever?
  5. If they were in the Big Ten, they would be Michigan; good, not great. 9 times out of 10 they would get spanked by OSU and probably lose 4 games consistently. Your stats kinda prove the point, they are getting "strength of wins" for playing FBS teams who are terrible year in year out. They are a good program, not great. They would be Michigan in the BIG, do pretty well but get stomped by OSU nine times out of ten. I am not even considering the SEC. I don't think they suck at all, I said overrated. And these stats prove my point as much as yours, they do pretty well with their schedule, get to the playoffs and are outclassed.
  6. Not piling on, but ND is top ten every year because of their schedule and brand. They’re a good program but overrated most years because of the name.
  7. https://247sports.com/college/indiana/LongFormArticle/Indiana-Hoosiers-football-offensive-coordinator-hot-board-for-the-IU-program-176656858/#176656858_10
  8. Michigan struggled against tarleton as well. Both zags and Michigan are overrated.
  9. That would be wild, but he’s got a lot of skeletons in the closet that I don’t think ND would like to re-open. I would say Fickell is much more likely.
  10. What makes you think that? ND is overrated almost every year.
  11. Not searching for anything, you keep giving reasons why the season went bad without just saying, yeah, this season was a sh*t show. And I will add to the reasons, Penix should not have been playing. He was obviously not ready yet they threw him out there. That's on the staff.
  12. You have to admit, this season was a dumpster fire.
  13. I think everyone's fear, for good reason, how does this season impact recruiting? This season was a disaster no matter the reason.
  14. So you thought they would go back and study film?
  15. The offense was not good most of the year last year too. The offensive game has not been good.
  16. Woody and Fife basically said he left on his own.
  17. You haven’t been watching IU then. Can’t win if you can’t score.
  18. We may have a Wally Pip situation on our hands. Although Wally was pretty pretty good when he was replaced.
  19. Rebounding is still a concern, but it’s hard to rebound bricks and air balls.
