  1. You guys are a bunch of "fuddy duddies".  We keep doing the same thing over-and-over and failing.  Now Dolson does something out of the box to revive the program, and all you can do is whine.  Weren't you listening when he said he wants a "cutting edge" offense" that would attract aspiring players.  The landscape of college basketball is going to change rapidly.  Soon athletes can be paid for their images, etc.  Why not hire an NBA coach who is an ex-player to teach NBA offense and handle athletes who are no longer strictly amateur?  Why hire a great former coach to help oversee the transition?

    Thanks for the article, Rico.

The Cubs were built on great pitching.  The hitting was good, but it has never reached its potential.  This year the pitching staff is not rated very high.  But could change.  The guy to watch is Aldozay.  If the pitching isn't there the Cubs will be selling.

Gonna watch Hunter Greene throw an inning for the Reds against the Angels instead of the start of the IU game.

Should've watched the whole Reds game!   Much less agony that way.

I think it's fair to wonder if he would have developed into that point guard without the injuries.

Well he did get to play quite a bit as a frosh.  Certainly more than Lander has.  He was injured as a soph., but it wasn't anything that was chronic though didn't get to practice as much as he would've without the injuries.

The man lost half of his foot in a car wreck similar to Landon Turner sorry if you feel I am wrong  about how I think sports should be looked at!!!  I am sure you have live a great life! FU

I'm from NE Indiana and I remember Bavis, and his story is a tragic one.  However, he had a great HS and college career.  In HS he played for the Garrett Railroaders which was a small school.  There was another 7 footer on the team as well as an excellent guard who I believe went to Florida.  Many teams stalled against Garrett because of their size and skill.  Garrett was a local and state power house for a few years in mid-60's.

Why bring Nojel into a conversation that has zero to do with him? The guy isn’t the most intelligent guy ever but he’s also not an idiot. Nojel’s downfall wasn’t because of lack of intelligence. His downfall was letting his mom run the show.  Lack of maturity no question but he’s not dumb. Seems like a beating a dead horse situation at this point.

"Beating a dead horse" is one of our strengths.😀

All this with 40 days until the official start of winter!

I left FL this am where it wa 85 and sunny yesterday to return to 8 degrees in Chicago. Something wrong with me.

Same here.  Came back from Florida on Monday only to find the temperature in the Fort (Wayne) to be in the 20's and to find snow all over the ground and my car!
