  1. As a sophomore, he rushed for 129 yards in the state championship game. Last year in his first game, he had 113 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD, and 2 receiving TDs (35 and 19 yards). This was against Cincinnati Elder (Ramsay's high school). I think that might have been the only game he played completely healthy.
  2. A commitment from Payne will move us up to 18th overall.
  3. He'll be our 2nd highest RB ever, and 8th highest player ever on 247.
  4. I saw an article yesterday that said next week. I think that means 8 days from now next week, not tomorrow. Not 100% sure on that though.
  5. It's good to see Jaylin Williams on there. Not sure what, if anything, happened from that potential incident a few weeks ago, but seeing him on here might be a good sign.
  6. I had forgotten about that. I had to go back through the thread when he committed and double check, but he did miss the previous year. Definitely could have been rusty.
  7. Hopefully he gained weight from Caleb Jones. I read somewhere that last summer really hurt Jones and he put on a lot of weight. I thought it showed, especially early (PSU). Having the extra weight will he a big help for Haggard. There's also a hell of a list of people on the OL that don't even make this depth chart.
  8. This is very small in the grand scheme of this depth chart, but I'm excited to see my guy Da'Shaun Brown listed. He was hurt on a special teams play early last year and never really got to play. One of these days I'm hoping we get him the ball. Dude can make people miss.
  9. Man, I read that really wrong at first lol.
  10. I didn't follow real closely, but were there any suspicious cancelations last year? I can see the idea of making a team forfeit. If a 7-6 team is playing the Chiefs next week, and they have 1 case and cancel, that's not really fair. On the other end, if a team has a lot of positives and are forced to cancel, that's also not really fair. I'm glad I don't have to be in charge of walking the line between both sides of this.
  11. Yeah, that VAERS site isn't much more useful than looking at the comments on somebody's tweet. There are definitely possible side effects from the vaccine that people need to be aware of, but that website is just random people reporting things that might not even be related.
  12. There were a few highly ranked guys from Florida who went there, and he just happened to commit right around that same time period. I'm sure it was just a coincidence haha.
  13. I would guess Alfonso Allen boils down to his eligibility. Not sure when the decisions about ASU will happen, but I'm guessing it could be a while before anything is known about that. I'd be shocked if he wasn't one of the recruits in question there, so I can't imagine he'd be eligible at ASU. I would guess right now the wait is to see if he'd be eligible at other places.
  14. I don't know what our chances our, but it seems like Nyjalik Kelly really likes IU, and it seems like we are legitimately in the running. Wouldn't be surprised to see us put a full court press on for him. The good thing is, we probably only need about half a dozen more recruits, so we can be picky. I'm guessing we swing for the fences for a few months.
  15. Same. Just yesterday I said it was refreshing to not know ahead of time, and now I'm like, "WHERE'S THE LEAKS!!!"
  16. The fact that he put "it's almost that time again" makes me think he's expecting something to happen in the 22 class. The fact that nobody else has said anything makes me wonder if he's just hopeful. Long story short, I have no idea lol.
  17. It isn't just used for that though. He tweets it in general about the 2022 class. They use it when a commitment is near, but they also use it other times. Here are just a few examples of when it wasn't leading up to or hinting at a commitment.
  18. I know class rankings don't mean anything once these kids get on campus, but ending with a top 25 class would be huge for the perception of IU.
  19. And we'd only be .02 behind 17th place BC who has 22 commits.
  20. The class calculator works now that Dunnam's ranking is updated. If Strickland commits, we'd be 18th overall.
  21. I don't think that's right. Our team score shows as 187.34, but when Strickland is added on the class calculator, it only adds 5 points. I think it resets to our total from a few days ago of 181.04. As btown pointed out, some of the scores changed this week, so our points went up. I think a Strickland commit should put us around 200 points which would be in the 15-19 range. He would need to count for over 30 to get us to 12th place overall, and McCullough is only 27.7 points.
  22. The premIUm22 part is about the 2022 class, so I would guess it was a hint.
  23. Well this makes things interesting. It will be interesting to follow this afternoon to see what the other coaches (especially Wright), and the other players/commits are tweeting.
  24. Haha. I am excited for that series, even though I think 10 years is too far in advance. Who knows, by that time, that could be to see who the best program in the state is. ND will probably be on a 15 year losing streak in big bowl games, and we'll be coming off our best decade ever. There aren't any other programs in the state worth discussing as the best.
