  1. I've looked into it a bit, and it sounds like there is very little evidence that backs up their claim. I've read that there have been tons of people looked into whose names have worked for the cipher. I had to laugh at the side by side picture they say looks like the drawing. One of their big points is that the wrinkles/scars on his forehead match up to the drawing. That's a hell of a memory for the person talking to the sketch artist to know the exact direction of all the wrinkles and scars on the killer's forehead! I don't think it looks all that much like him anyways. This is a case I've always liked following, so I was really excited when I first read this yesterday, but unfortunately it doesn't sound very good. From what I've seen, it sure seems like they are just looking for publicity. Wouldn't be surprised to hear they have a book coming out soon. I think they did something similar with D.B. Cooper.
  2. I'm going with the team with the most vowels. Tie breaker is fewest consonants. Next tie breaker is oldest starting QB. Seahawks Falcons Packers Lions Steelers Buccaneers Washington Football Team Eagles Jaguars Patriots Raiders Chargers Giants Cardinals Chiefs Ravens
  3. If we're going to see something different like a wildcat package, you'd have to think MSU would be the game to do it. A huge game with 2 weeks to prepare. Gotta pull out all the stops to get this win.
  4. Here's that article for others. Good read. I like the idea of having the coordinators self examine their coaching over the bye week. I have no doubt Allen will be critical of their evaluations, and expects them to analyze themselves well.
  5. I think the Ravens thing was kind of lame, but it definitely isn't as bad as PU doing a fake kneel down and running a play a couple years ago. That was one of the bigger garbage plays I've seen, and a great way to get someone hurt.
  6. I absolutely hate how they don't call delay of game when the play clock hits 0. Lions snapped it close to 2 seconds late, and a Bears player had jumped offsides about a full second after the play clock hit 0. Dumbest rule ever.
  7. And there goes Montgomery for the Bears. Usually not a good sign when you're holding your knee in agony and the announcer says they won't show the replay because it's gruesome.
  8. Maryland doesn't play Cincinnati, and Rutgers doesn't play Cincinnati or Iowa. I mostly meant that it was like the football being pulled out just as Charlie Brown goes to kick it. Set up for a great year, and a brutal schedule, key injuries, and pathetic OL play could derail the season. Still a long ways to go, but definitely an uphill battle.
  9. I feel like this season is proof that God hates IU football.
  10. Evans has had a really good game. Glad to see he's settled into playing football. Averaging 45.9 per punt, and his long is only 51. Just consistently hitting good punts.
  11. Our defense has been pretty solid most of the year. Unfortunately, our offense isn't getting leads, so other teams aren't having to take chances against us like they had to last year. They've really competed hard all year.
  12. MSU being the ranked team you have us beating?
  13. Right! Start making some calls now that the game is out of hand. I don't think there's any big conspiracy or anything, but it is insane how bad B1G officiating is in favor of higher ranked teams every year. There are a few outlier games, but those sure seem to be rare.
  14. I'm just going to throw this out there. Iowa - 1 in play penalty for ineligible down field. Cincinnati - 1 in play penalty for defensive holding. PSU - 2 in play penalties. 1 illegal touching, and a hold on a meaningless play at the end of the 1st half. You're going to say in 3 games against top 10 teams, the other team hasn't had a single pass interference, only 1 defensive hold, and only 1 offensive hold? No illegal hands to the face, no face masks, no roughing the passer calls, and only 1 offensive and 1 defensive hold in close to 400 total plays. Yeah right.
  15. Right! I seriously don't get how that wasn't called or discussed at all. Just ridiculous.
  16. Jones just is not quick enough to play tackle against most B1G DEs.
  17. Hopefully Penix is alright. Doesn't look good that they're working his arm.
  18. Might be the only time I get to say it, but good blocking OL!
  19. Good start by the defense. Really hope the offense found something in the lockerrom to give them some fire and comes out swinging.
  20. McFadden is having a great game except for that one miss on a blitz. That was obviously a huge play, but that guy is everywhere on the field.
  21. I know a struggling QB can make it tough for others on the offense, but almost all 11 guys on offense are playing worse this year than last year. Hendershot is definitely better, but I'm struggling to find anybody else.
  22. Unfortunately, we have zero margin for error this year. After this weekend, we'll have 6 top 15 teams on the schedule, and 5 of them will likely be top 10. If it isn't the hardest schedule in the country, I'd like to see what is.
