But you never offer anything outside of whining about it. Sheridan is the scape goat, I get it.

What play should we have ran and why? What shifts/personnel/actions/motions would you have ran on 4th down to convert? If you don't have that dialed up... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I really haven't posted much tonight, and didn't comment at all about the 4th down play. So not really sure how I'm whining.

While Penix definitely doesn’t look comfortable, his OL and OC aren’t doing him any favors. I don’t think playing Tuttle changes anything.

We have to get rid of Hiller. The OL is a disaster, and gets worse every year.

I know the OL hurts play calling, but at some point you have to get more creative to help the OL. I feel like we get less creative because we know we can't block. It seems like such a losing mindset.

Looking for some clarity on how the IR works in Yahoo.

I was able to move Diontae Johnson to IR last weekend when he was ruled out.  At the time, I was assuming he was going to be out a few weeks and might not come back until after his Bye Week (7).  However, according to his player update, he did practice some today.  So, my question is, if he does play, am I able to keep him on IR even if he is activated?  I have no plans to play him right now because he may still be gimpy and Big Ben can't throw the ball more than 10 yards.  But, I'm not going to drop him either.

I found this online, and it appears I am able to leave him there, but I would not be able to do any player adds.  Does anyone know if that include trades and waiver claims?

Correct. No transactions at all, so no waivers or trades. At least that's how it is for Yahoo's fantasy baseball, so I'm assuming it's the same.

Oh they should but again you are comparing baseball…it just isn’t the norm for football. Also these coaches/gms know their job is on the line. They are admitting defeat and will be out of a job. They have one hope…win now. They will both be fired this offseason unless they show some sort of spark/life.

That's why they need to be fired now to start working on the rebuild, but no way the Bears would do that. Pace and  Nagy are a sinking ship and instead of abandoning them, the Bears organization does nothing. The longer the rebuild is delayed, the harder it will be.

As I said a few weeks ago, I was hoping Dalton wouldn't get hurt because I want Fields nowhere near the field while under Nagy. The Bears need to get Nagy away from Fields as soon as possible so they don't ruin Fields too.

  5. Here are my predictions based on QB heights.  All of them are from ESPN.

    Football Team @ Bills (-7.5) (Heinicke 6'1, Allen 6'5)

    Bears @ Browns (-7) (Field 6'3, Mayfield 6'1)

    Ravens (-9) @ Lions (Jackson 6'2, Goff 6'4)

    Colts @ Titans (-5) (Wentz 6'5, Tannehill 6'4)

    Chargers @ Chiefs (-6.5) (Herbert 6'6, Mahommes 6'3)

    Saints @ Patriots (-3) (Winston 6'4, Jones 6'3)

    Falcons @ Giants (-3) (Ryan 6'4, Jones 6'5)

    Bengals @ Steelers (-3) (Burrow 6'4, Roethlisberger 6'5)

    Cardinals (-7) @ Jaguars (Murray 5'10, Lawrence 6'6)

    Jets @ Broncos (-10.5) (Wilson 6'2" 214 lbs, Bridgewater 6'2" 215 lbs)

    Dolphins @ Raiders (-4) (Brissett 6'4, Carr 6'3)

    Bucs (-1.5) @ Rams (Brady 6'4, Stafford 6'3)

    Seahawks (-1.5) @ Vikings (Wilson 5'11, Cousins 6'3)

    Packers @ 49ers (-3) (Rodgers 6'2", 225 lbs, Garoppolo 6'2" 225 lbs...so I guess I'm calling a push on this one.  Not liking those odds!)

    Eagles @ Cowboys (-3.5) (Hurts 6'1, Prescott 6'2)

I’ve been happiest here in Brooklyn, but feel like I’ve outgrown our space and am really looking forward to moving upstate in NY or Vermont or Maine.

Definitely want to be int he NE, b/c I like the proximity to NYC/DC/Philly. Also not a big fan of humidity and overly hot climates.

My wife surprised me with a beer trip to Vermont this summer and I REALLY clicked with the state. It may have just been the area we were in - near Burlington - but I really loved how people were into pimping out their front yards with amazing gardens and flower beds. It was much more pronounced than any other place I have visited.

Another plus for Vermont - no billboards on roadsides. ZERO. They don’t allow them. That I can get behind.

Our plan is to buy a summer home somewhere up north in the next 3-5 years and then transition to it full time once my wife retires.

I think I'd be fine with a small or average size city, but I don't know how people can manage in New York City, Chicago, or Los Angeles. If I were in your shoes, I would have wanted out a long time ago lol. I have always wanted to do a trip to the northeast and go through Vermont. Too cold for me to want to live in, but seems like a really nice state.
