Removing blackouts would be a good step in the right direction. I usually buy the MLB package (can’t think of the name of it off hand). I live in north Delaware (Astros fan) and they blackout most Philly, Baltimore, and DC games. It’s crazy. Hell, last year they blacked out the entire Baltimore series when they were playing AT Houston. I mean, c’mon. I’m not even in that market. How is that even relevant?! The MLB keeps tweaking their rules hoping to draw in fans but it’s really disenfranchising a large swath and not pulling in new viewership. I don’t know the fix but what they are doing isn’t working.

It’s a whole new recruiting landscape out there.

As 49er fan, I would love to unload Trey Lance. He was a poor selection to begin with for us. Purdy will be the QB for our future. He’s far from perfect but his mechanics are sound. i wouldn’t be shocked if the Niners unload both JG and TL this off-season. Bring in a vet on his last leg to be a locker room/film room guy for Brock. I’d like JG to be that guy, I just don’t think he’ll want to be in that position.

This Niner team doesn't look like a team that's won 10-straight. They had a 3rd/10 earlier and they run a draw play? Then they squib it with 15 seconds on the clock, followed by a PF 15 yrd penalty. You can't give up points like that in the playoffs. We're starting the 2nd half and moving the ball, so hopefully they bounce back. Go Niners!!!!!!!

I love me some 2nd amendment. More importantly I love me some SAFE and RESPONSIBLE 2nd amendment. And that means keeping your firearm in a locked safe (preferably w/a biometric lock) ESPECIALLY when there are children in the household. Hiding it in the closet, in a nightstand, under the mattress, etc is a perfect ‘treasure hunt’ for the snooping child. I don’t know the details of the case but assuming the firearm wasn’t locked up, then the mom should be held liable. I know in Delaware there’s a law for this…but VA is certainly not DE. Terrible scenario all around.

I will admit that I skimmed the thread and didn’t read everything thoroughly so if this was brought up before I do apologize. Social Media is a cancer. It’s terrible. Nothing good comes from it that can’t be gained through other avenues (perhaps a revenue stream for some). With that being said, it isn’t going anywhere so we need to adjust. I teach my kids in every day life, you can only control your controllables. Putting that to work in this context, we know social media is going nowhere. We know the vile fan is going nowhere (as mentioned earlier, this is a societal problem, not an IU problem). So, the players need to learn (and perhaps be taught/coached) to control those controllables. You control you. You control your input (by what you view). You control your output (by what you say). No one said it is easy or will be easy. But you can’t control what fans say and think. I’m in no way condoning the actions of the minuscule fraction of the fan base we are referencing. At the end of the day, control your controllables. #lifelessonsbynatty

And I believe the Niners still have a shot at the 1 seed. A NYG victory (Philly loss) and a Niner victory (over the Cards) should move them into a tie with Philly. SF owns the tie break with better conference record. I think that’s how it would play out.

I’m not sure you’re giving the Niners defense enough credit.
