I have kids and completely understand. My point is more around the lack of headphones and self awareness than the general use of the tablet.

Parents who allow their kids to watch tablets/phones during dinners in restaurants (or anywhere) without headphones. Adults do this too on occasion but I’ve witnessed it more with kids. Have some self awareness and respect for those who are enjoying their meals and don’t want to hear your anime or YouTube video.

Joking aside, Resident Alien is a really good show.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! lol I want him to do well as he appears to have a good head on his shoulders but there are those who report on his every move. That’s a bit odd to me. To each their own I guess.

Does anyone else watch Resident Alien? It’s one of the best cast and best written shows I’ve seen in a long time. Highly recommended.

They will likely restructure it. But he’ll be a Met next year.

I think Pats (and Geno’s for that matter) is overrated and more commercialized. I do love da wiz though!!! I’m a big fan of Campo’s. Soooo good. I don’t get to Philly often, but there’s a regional dive in the Delaware area, Claymont Steaks, which is delicious. When I lived in Denver, The Taste of Philly was my go to. MMMMmmmm….wit da wiz all day!

Are you also one who must match brands? Like if you have Adidas socks you can't wear Under Armor shorts? I know a guy who is super-anal about that. It makes me no difference.

I use AdGuard and AdBlock and knock out 95% of the ads. You can whitelist the few pages that won't load unless you turn off AdBlocks, but usually, if I just stop going to those sites as I can locate the info in other places.

Philly is about 45 mins away as well. But getting in/out of Philly is a pain in the balls. I prefer to drive the extra 15 w/less stress to Baltimore. Plus Camden > Citizens Bank. I'm about 2 hours from the Nationals Park and 2 hours from Yankee Stadium. Never driven to Queens, so not certain re:New Shea.

Grew up a fan of Ripken Jr. Moved to Delaware about a decade ago and went to Camden Yards. Loved the field. The fans were friendly. The tickets accessible and reasonable. It’s about an hour and straight highway so the travel is easy. I’ll always root for them unless they are playing my team.

I meant the NCAA has to put in these stipulations universally. Claw-backs, trusts, etc. Unfortunately they dropped the ball and allowed this to be the Wild Wild West. They can add language to be inclusive of the non-profits as well. But we all know the NCAA is about the worst run organization on the planet. So they likely won’t do a thing.

That team has bottomless pockets. I hate it so much. I hope they continue to print money and continue to lose. Their fans can continue to boo their players.
