  1. Anyone have a good jerky recipe? I was given a smoker recently and thought jerky was a good entry point. Plus I do love jerky!
  2. That's a good lookin' knife! I'm no where near a connoisseur of pocket knives, but I have a couple Spyderco knives that i like a lot.
  3. I think we sold our IUFB soul to the devil so the IUBB could have success. lol
  4. This sounds like a hedge bet to me. Historically IU is the one who wilts under pressure and PU steps up for the bigger game. Perhaps that’s also out of the biased lens of a cynical IU fan.
  5. Oh man. I never considered adding hot sauce to the eggs. I do something similar. I’ll toss some Franks in next time. Great idea!
  6. Let’s go Hoosiers!!! If nothing else than to spoil their bid to win the Big Ten Jr division.
  7. Thanks! I'm not sure what you mean....a longer stop-action video? To hear more of the music you mean?
  8. I 3D printed this Advent Nativity box. Credit to my 15 yr old daughter for putting together the vid! IMG_0304.MOV
  9. Slightly burnt pepperoni are the best kind of pepperoni!!!!
  10. I have read about doing this for a while but never had. I tried it today and will never do it any other way. Reheating pizza on a skillet on the stove top. Medium heat. A few drops of water on the skillet next to (not on) the pizza. Cover with a large pan lid. 4-5 mins. It crisps up the crust to perfection. Give it a shot if you’ve never tried it!
  11. I have them (Dark Pines) on my list to check out. Just haven’t gotten there yet.
  12. Dark Matter and Run are decent too! I’m not a huge Sci-Fi guy, but these were all (including Recursion) really fun reads!!!
  13. This was a decent book. I read it as well! If there are history buffs in the mix you might like The Pioneers: The Heroic Story of Settlers Who Brought the American Ideal West by David McCullough. It focuses on expansion along the Ohio River.
  14. Great book to write a report on. I always try to put myself in the characters situation and I can’t imagine being thrust back in time like that. Losing all modern conveniences. Relearning the English language. That was the hardest part for me. Following along the 1860s nomenclature. Not a bad thing, made it real, slowed me down is all.
  15. It had been in my list to read but I had a hard time finding it. Finally bit the bullet and bought it. Was not disappointed at all. It’s def in my top 5/10.
  16. I always said it was either SF or LAD. No way he's staying in NY where you smash it all year only to be booed at the end. NYY fans...SMDH.
  17. What software/hardware do you use to sync your lights/music?
  18. Colbies Southern Kissed Chicken is pretty friggin' great. They are opening a Raising Cane's out this way soon. Looking forward to trying that out.
  19. Some of the better books I've read the last month or so (I've read 55 on the year thus far): Surviving Savannah - Patti Callahan Dog Company Six - Edwin Simmons If I Never Get Back - Darryl Brock Hidden Valley Road: Inside the Mind of an American Family - Robert Kolker The Children's Blizzard - Melanie Benjamin Eternal - Lisa Scottoline
