  1. agree. With Godwin and Allen Robinson getting tagged it hurt the Colts IMO cause now you move the rest of the free agent wrs up as there are less of them available. Cap is confirmed to be $182.5 mil this year. Lots of 1 or 2 year deals will probably occur due to such a low cap. We think this current free agent class is about to be crazy just wait till next year when the cap returns close to $200 mil or more.
  2. After the Wentz trade goes through Colts will have approx. $47 mil. THey have money but a good chunk of holes that need filled. They also need to make sure Wentz has plenty of solid good pass catchers to throw to. DE/Pass Rusher - Bud Dupree/Carl Lawson(Bengals)/Romeo Okwara(Lions)/Hassan Reddick(Cardinals). All of these guys had great years last year(Dupree is coming off an ACL injury I believe). You probably get best value if they choose Romeo Okwara or Reddick compared to Dupree or Car. I expect one of the top pass rusher to be signed by the horseshoe. I wouldn't rule out bringing back Autry or AQM. Autry can plan along the entire DL line and AQM would provide great depth as a rotational pass rusher. A defensive line of say Buckner/Grover/top FA pass rusher/Turray/Autry or AQM/Tyquan Lewis and Stallworth offers loads of depth and can pressure the QB as well as stopping the run. Ballard wants to win from within the trenches and he does that with this unit. WR - Kenny Golladay will get ton of money, probably will price his way out of Ballards liking. WIth that being said you could resign Hilton and sign say Keelan Cole(Jags) or Chris Conley(Jags) or sign Corey Davis(Titans) and sign Keelan Cole or Chris Conley. Conley was with Ballard in KC together at one point. I love a Hilton/Pittman/Parris/Keelan Cole or Conley and Pascal. Pascal is due to return and is a great 5th WR to have here before the four listed ahead of him. CB - You HAVE to have a starting caliber veteran besides Kenny Moore at this spot. Resign Rhodes or sign Shaquill Griffen(Sehawks). This is a make or break year for Rock Ya-Sin. TE - Give me Ertz on a team friendly deal, otherwise give me J Smith from Titans. Draft - LT/CB with their first two picks. IMO you can't afford to pay a LT $16 mil especially with both Nelson and Braden Smith due for pay raises next year and Kelly already being the highest paid C in the league. You could slide Braden Smith to LT, draft a RT in the 2nd rd and nab a top CB with your first pick or even sign a RT via FA and draft a Edge rusher and CB with their first two picks. Lots of diff ways this team can go.
  3. Unfortunately he plays same role as Pittman Jr and Colts believe highly in him so I'd put it at about a 10% chance although he moves the needle for this team drastically
  4. Interesting final 7. Would be big to pair with Duncomb down low.
  5. The team is too predictable with only Brogdon and Sabonis as the primary scorers. Doug and Justin have done solid jobs filling in, however, they are no more than a role player at best. LeVert returning drastically helps this team and could legit lead the team in scoring(injuries pose a slight risk here). For this team to make a run in this playoff they need Warren in the mix and I do not think he'll make it back. Myles defense is huge for this team but he's the only player on the team that would net a good return and we aren't trading Sabonis or Brogdon. Goga has shown flashes in games he's played this season, you can see he's much more confident and active as a shot blocker and sets good screens(he's def serviceable as a backup center and potentially more). He'll be the backup center to Sabonis. A starting group of Brogdon/LeVert/Warren/Sabonis can be very very good and add in a top 10 pick that you could get for Myles to play the PF spot watch out.
  6. you don't make a splash for a FA signing at LT with the likes of Smith and Nelson due to contract extensions upcoming. They will draft a LT with one of their first two picks
  7. Window is open yes. Sign Pass Rusher via FA, sign WR via FA, resign Autry and Rhodes. Draft LT at 21 or trade back to get the 3rd rd pick you sent for Wentz. WIth your first two picks go LT and DL/CB
  8. In the short run I'll take JJ Watt, long run gimme Carl Lawson at DE next to Buckner, Grover and Turay as the starters. Resign Autry and man that is a very nice starting 6 guys at only 4 positions. Remember Autry can play DE or slide inside.
  9. For what it's worth and yes I am mentioning Dan Dakich here but he's saying Colts and Matt Ryan and reiterated this a little while ago.
  10. I'd say it wouldn't hurt. Both plat different positions and have familiarity with one another. I'd gladly take both
  11. offered his teammate Ward. Would be a big get to get both he and Ward and add them to CJ.
  12. IU extended an offer to SF Tyrell Ward yesterday. 2022 4 star guy from Dematha and teammate of four star guard Rodney Rice. Both of which are from the same high school as Victor.
  13. if this kid can hit his free throws he’ll be a fan favorite. Please don’t learn from Race or TJD
  14. No real fight from the Pacers last night. I expect them to hover around the 4/5 seed until LeVert and Warren returns. When they both return and Goga still learning and getting better this team will not be a first round exit. THey should at a min make the 2nd rd and be competitive in the 2nd rd.
  15. This kid fits what CAM loves, guys that are in the 6'5" to 6'8" height range but are lengthy and create havoc in the passing lanes. Allows you to play them at multiple positions. Just look at Geronimo. He was battling Garza and faired quite nice as a freshman. If Archie is not in his ear this would be greatly disappointing.
  16. Rankings don’t always matter see Oladipo/Juwan just a few to name.
  17. Big fan of Goga, he just needs mins even if it is 6 to 8 per game for now. Develop him and you got a really good set of 3 tall guys over 6'11"
  18. First games for fans back at Bankers life(1,000 fans and all were season ticket holders) and it felt great being there although they lost. Anyone that says Myles isn't important to this team or that he is an average player isn't watching. Without him, the defense struggles and with him well there's a reason he's at 4.2 blocks per game and the defense improves drastically. Aaron is in a slump, big fan but he's struggling with his shots which imo is affecting is defense. His shots will start falling though right? That's what CAM is saying about our shooters but I've been waiting for awhile but I won't go there lol Lamb looked good returning for his first game from his ACL tear last Feb. Coach said after the game he elected not to play Goga but said it wasn't because he isn't healthy just didn't like the matchup but went on to say he should have and he will play moving forward. Jakar is a gap filler not a long term solution but he shouldn't be on the floor whenever Goga is healthy. Goga's first year was a wash under McMillan, he does not develop players very well and won't make changes like the new coach. He just got back from being hurt Sunday and played ok in his first game back considering the amount of time he's missed and of course it was the Clippers which are a top team in the west. I think Goga will continue to get better and feel more comfortable. I still believe Goga will be at a min a very good role player for this team. He provides better shot blocking than Sabonis.
  19. Think he could turn into a Durham type of guy for this team, sure Durham has his downfalls but overall I'd be happy with CJ
  20. he did have some injury problems in college and the same here in the NBA but to my knowledge no major injuries like what Vic recently experienced.
  21. yeah Goga is unproven but I think he could be at a min a solid rotational big and should say Turner ever get moved Goga over time could develop and turn into a very good player but only time will tell with him. Thad is a good question, brings good defense and would be a good fit off the bench along with Aaron, Justin, Doug , Lamb and Goga.
  22. Agree. I think once Goga returns and gets some mins you see our rebounding improve some. Have you seen when he plans to join the team yet?
  23. Was surprised when I saw the Pacers were included in the big Rockets deal yesterday but IMO the Pacers got better with this deal. Brooklyn well they better win at least one title while the big three is there otherwise you'll be the laughing stock of the NBA for a little while. I like Houston's team with Wall, Oladipo, Cousins and Wood along with Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker. Back to the Pacers trade. Levert was averaging 18.5 pts, 43.5 fg%, 35 3p%, 4.3 rbs, 6 ast this year. He's on a more friendly deal than vic at about $18 mil per year, two years younger, two inches taller and just entering his prime. Biggest question was would Vic get his explosiveness back and based on 9 games he's played in I say yes. I'd say he's at or close to 95% of his form pre injury. Vic averaging 19.8 pts, 39.9 fg%, 35.69 3p%, 5.9 rbs, 4.3 ast per game so similar to LeVert. With these stats and most of his explosiveness returning he was set to make imo at least $28 to $31 mil per year next off season. The Pacers would not give that big of a contract due to the fact of other contracts on the team AND the friction that had been ongoing I love Vic and wish him the best but this was best for both teams. The Pacers got better IMO, younger freed up some cap space for this year and the future. A starting 5 of Brogdon/LeVert/Warren/Sabonis/Turner with Holiday bros/Doug/Goga and Lamb off of the bench will be trouble for alot of teams. People that slept on Myles Turner in the off-season, well I won't go there as some thought he was just an average player compared to other centers in the league.
  24. Boy I hope so. I think if Vic leaves or gets traded its Aarons for the taking. I have been a big fan since he entered the draft
