  1. 1.) Makes sense wanting a longer term deal, especially given the fact of his recent major injury. Prioritize money spread over a few years then risking making $30 mil this year and getting injured and getting much lower money in years 2/3/4. I truly think he'll end up in Indy. Only was he comes to Indy is if one of Myles or Vic gets traded. 2.) Pacers will have to take a big gamble here with Vic. Hope he returns to form is their best shot, then you can reassess trade value or if you want to give him $30 mil. I think the first option is best given the fact that Indy is a small market team. 3.) Myles will net you a 1st rd return easily, Vic maybe so make sense that they do their due diligence. 4.) If the draft starts Nov 18th and teams open training camp say Dec 1st, they better get on their horses for assistants. When does free agency start, day after the draft or the following Monday?
  2. Marginal starter? Myles would start on the Celtics over Theis or Williams. Myles is def an upgrade over anyone the Celtics have on their current roster or could bring in via FA given their cap space. He would improve both their offense and defense. Williams is up and coming but he's still very raw.
  3. Since I keep seeing more and more about Hayward to Indy being a possibility, what about this? Turner/Doug/Lamb for Hayward 14th and 26th pick? - Turner is the main guy for this deal, McDermott cap filler and offers a bit of floor spacing, Lamb is an above average player and cap filler - Hayward is a nice fit next to Warren and can be interchangeable with him. 6.7 rebounds per game this past year, which is more than Turner. 14th & 26th pick give us 2 chances at having a little swing at some young talent to hopefully turn into something or can package together to a team that may want to trade down. Starters: Brogdon/Vic/Hayward/Warren/Sabonis Bench: Aaron/TJ or Sumner/resign Justin Holiday/14th draft pick or vet FA and Leaf/Goga and 26th pick and Alize Johnson at end of the bench
  4. Chaminade 2022 PF Tarris Reed Jr picked up an offer yesterday. 6'10" PF from Chaminade HS in St. Louis. 4-star rating according to 24/7 sports
  5. DK Metcalf is a beast. He looked like a cheetah chasing down a gazelle after the INT lol He was easily 10 yards behind Budda Baker at the time of the INT.
  6. Ian Bagley today reported that sources are saying Pacers are interested in bringing Gordon Hayward to Indiana. Yes he will always be linked to Indiana cause of Butler and he lives here but I feel like this rumor will never go away.
  7. FVV(Fred VanVleet) is a free agent and speaks very highly of the new Pacers coach. IF and IF Oladipo gets moved, you could make a splash for FVV and play FVV and Brogdon at the 1/2.
  8. That was my biggest issue with McMillian was A.) he wouldn't develop talent(Aaron was forced to contribute due to injuries and being thrown into live action) and B.) he wouldn't make a change when it was needed.
  9. Agree. I think you see Aaron improve some more, Goga improves and Leaf improve to some extent.
  10. Nice spelling! lol If he can develop Aaron Holiday a little more and develop Goga I think this team can be top 4 and win more than 1 series in the playoffs. He's big into player development, an area that the former Nate struggled at mightily.
  11. So far Nate is saying the right things in his welcome conference this morning. Main highlights are: - Offensive style will be disruptive, lots of movement. Different guys handling the ball. - Pritchard receiving lots of texts and calls about this being a great hire - No set rotation, each game dictates a rotation. Won't be afraid to enter "said" player into any game. Wants each player to believe he can enter any game - Believes talent and IQ of the team is very good - The two bigs are very dynamic, compliment each other very well. Feels very comfortable having two bigs - On Oladipo; He texted me(coach) immediately after I was hired and I called him. It was very welcoming, we had a great talk, I like Vics energy, our energy fed off of each other. Note from Pritchard on Vic: - Vic and I(Pritchard) have a great relationship, Vic feels good about the team. He's talked to me about how he thinks this team can be very good. You hear alot of things, but until it comes to me I don't really worry about what is being talked about. He(Pritchard) pointed out Vic still has 1 year left on his deal -Pritchard had a team zoom call yesterday and said Vic spoke up and was positive as he has ever seen Vic. - Vic is full out cleared health wise.
  12. Thank you! We are very excited, she will be even more outnumbered in the house with the second one lol
  13. This was taken in Feb 2020, little man is much bigger and more sassy(just like his momma) as the weeks progress lol. Child #2 on the way March 2021
  14. J. Michael of the Indy Star was told the reason for this hire was: Due to " Adaptability".
  15. haha figured I'd change it up with all the Vic news circling around. Ballard has been spot on with stock pilling draft picks. I think they are close, with a few changes I think they are contending with Chiefs and others for top 3 in AFC
  16. Colts have 1 pick in each round for 2021 as of now.
  17. Barry Jackson is a writer that covers teams sports for teams in Miami.
  18. Finch or Billups is my pick. I saw/heard Dan Burke will not be returning. Not sure on Popeye Jones. Bill Bayno apparently travels to and from with Sabonis quite often throughout the offseason so I would say he stays on the roster. If D'Antoni is brought in, the personnel could then be added for support. I'd go: Finch, Billups then D'Antoni. Finch has been around for a bit but is very much a players coach from readings I have found. Billups is a wild card here since he's not been coaching but is a somewhat recent player. D'Antoni, well you know what you get with him(almost seems like fun regular season b-ball and a total wild card come playoffs.
  19. yup That is what I saw in the new CBA for NFL
  20. true he did, may not be the best teammate, however, Gase didn't agree with Jamal Adams(a potential HOF safety down the road) and he's driving Darnold into the ground. Not to mention the guys he was working with while with Miami(too many to name). But I agree, hes my RB3 so now I am just hoping he latches onto a team by weeks end so he can prepare and be ready for week 7 lol My guess is: Bears(diff player than Montgomery, would make a solid 1-2 punch IMO)/Chargers(Ekelar out for 4-6 weeks and no RB on their roster is better than Bell)/Chiefs(rookie RB outside of week 1 has struggle to some extent)/Denver(Melvin Gordon out 3 weeks due to recent DUI).
  21. best thing that could happen for Bell was to get out of the Jets
  22. The Miami model would be terrific if Indiana could mimic it. Sure we do not have the beaches, nice weather year around but you bring that basketball model here to Indiana, I think it could attract free agents a little better.
