Who is your IU MVP vs Miami (Ohio)
-
Can’t wait for the game, hate those 8 day layoffs lol. Will hopefully be done putting up my Christmas decor right before the game is starting .
Hope to see plenty of bench and would like to see TJD do more work away from the post on games like these. Shoot more free-throw like jumpers to get more confidence in doing so.

Huge victory for our Hoosiers, and definitely a game they lose in recent years. TJD and X really showed up, and I don’t think everyone played as bad as some indicated. There’s a lot more to basketball than just scoring. A lot of our misses were really close, and Xavier made a lot of tough, guarded shots.
I firmly believe we win this game by about 10 if those stupid technicals aren’t called. I can’t stand taunting, but those were not close to taunting levels that everyone else gets away with. The 2nd half tech on Malik really changed the momentum, where Xavier went on a 7-2 right after I think.
Very happy with the performance, figured this would be a dogfight and the team would exhibit some issues of it being their first road game. Expected mistakes and uneven play, but wanted to see their resolve. I really like the makeup of this team, and the defense will be better going forward.

TJD, but great job to X! TJD was insane tonight, and has to go up against many different looks to get his.

Cheer on the team loud for me, won’t be able to watch live today! Really hope for a victory, but road wins are tough against quality opponents. No matter how pretty or ugly, just try to get the W!

Dude. My wife hasn’t fully taken down all of the Halloween decor. And with the Halloween being rainy this year she only did 75%.
i like the arches BTW. I tested 2 of those last year and they worked well. I’m going to build a few more this year. I have a tough time with Xmas decor because my yard is sloped. Here’s a walk around this year.
Tell the Mrs. she needs to get to work on getting it down! Lol. She kills it every year.
Wifey was telling me the other day (talking about yours and ours decor), and she mentioned we all need to meet up again. Biggest difference is that we have kiddos now lol.

You'll love it
It was a great game. Those refs loved calling the touch fouls on IU! Anyway, team played hard and ready to play. A little too much of a quick trigger on some shots, but that’s about the only knock on their performance. Parrish played with a chip on her shoulder, and Moore was so close on almost all of her misses. A lot of in-and-outs.
Huge win and one that will give them even more confidence!

It probably deserves it 🤣
With awards and picks, you can’t not vote for JHS or Reneau because they may not have the numbers, but then vote for an MVP when they have lesser stats but on a better team. Can’t have one set of standards and then the complete opposite for a different award.

This neighborhood is mostly larger houses like you would typically see elsewhere, so they have garages, etc. It’s a really different area of Brooklyn than where I live.
It’s WAY too much! We only went once b/c of the insane crowds. I think it’s one of those things you only need to see once, but every house is crazier than the rest. I always wonder about the electric bills.
It definitely increases ours, but it’s not a crazy amount. However, I put up a lot more so I will be interested in seeing what happens lol.

I can't embed tweets, but Stephen Bardo released his Big Ten All-Freshmen Team and didn't have JHS or Reneau on it!?!?
That is just unfathomable.

Glad I read this thread, was about to make this it’s own topic lol.

This neighborhood is pretty far south of ours, but they do it UP for Christmas. We only went to see the houses one time when we first moved here, but it was intense and overwhelming.

Holy cow that’s a lot. That’s actually a little too much for even me, lol!

Lets say... if it were up to me, my only decorations would be my IU and American flags that hang in my garage. hahaha!!
I totally get it. It’s a big commitment to do a lot of decor. I’ve spent 2 full days on mine and just have the roof and Christmas tree done, with a lot more to go lol.
I’m off today and tomorrow, so I’m hoping to get everything done except for inflatables and similar decor. Will put that out the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Hate the start time, I’m in central territory so it’s a 5pm start time. I don’t get off till 5 so I will easily miss the 1st half.

Really bummed I don’t get to watch the game tonight, but really hope the ladies pull this off. Worried with this being a road game against a tough opponent, along with so many new pieces, might be too much for our Hoosiers. However, the transfers won’t be as impacted.
Biggest thing for this team is they will have to hit their outside shots!

I'm more on the Scrooge side of things, my wife informed that the Sunday after Thanksgiving we are going to get our real tree.... joy. 😆
My wife does an excellent job decorating our house for the holidays. I will post pics.
Are you one of those….. projector lights only people? lol

Started a thread for the game tonight. Friday's game slipped my mind.
Unfortunately I can’t wait the game tonight. I do worry about this game, just because I feel this team needs some more growing together before competing with teams like this. If they lose by 15+, it’s not because we are bad. I think if we play Tenn. later this season it will be a much closer game.
IU has a very good team, just a lot of new pieces on the road could bother them. Hope they can pull this off, absolutely have the talent stop do so!

For real though @JaybobHoosier, it looks great.
Appreciate it. My dad did this when I was a kid, so it’s a learned habit/addiction lol. My kids love it and my oldest likes helping me. Hopefully will get it all done by next weekend. Hard part is done with the roof, so we will see lol.

Goodness, Fighting IllWhini are COLD. If they are missing outside shots that are in a ton of trouble!
