  1. Still excited about last nights performance. I like that coach is giving a lot of minutes to the bench/young guys early, which will pay off a ton in the long run. We all saw what happened to Race, and that was not his fault at all.

If this team can shooting at least 35% from 3 every game, and it come from a collective group, this team will go far this season. Every spot on this roster has someone who is capable of going off, and we have guys on the bench who can fill in without much of a drop off.

One thing I saw on social media is Tamar is still not 100%, dealing with a back issue. There were times where his shot looked fairly flat, but was happy to see one go in for him. Getting Kopp and Galloway confidence from deep is huge for this team. Spaces the floor out and gives more room for our drivers and bigs to operate.

  2. No complaints with today's performance.  Some lapses in effort, but is understandable in games like this.  I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but felt like X finally started shaking off the rust/bad mindset in parts of the game.  That will be huge for us going forward with this team.  Really like the teams focus on moving without the ball when it went into the post, and it led to many made 3's.  I really like Kopp on the same side with TJD, I think that could be a deadly combo.

Really good performance from the bench, so much better than last year.  Duncomb was dead set on getting that last bucket to get us over triple digits lol.

  3. Taking advantage of the nice weather and trying to get up as much decorations as possible. Won’t have it officially up until after Thanksgiving, but here in St. Louis it’s supposed to drop into the high of 40s on Friday. It’s in the 70s tomorrow and Thursday. Still a lot more to go and a strand went out on me after it was put up, and of course it was smack dab on the front of the house…..

And, to that point, let's give Coach Woodson a lot of credit for knowing how to use a player with this level of special skill.  Not sure any of the other coaches since Knight would be as successful as I think Woodson will be in getting the most out of JHS.

I think some great examples of that are the mid-range curl action that he does for JHS. His shots around the free-throw line are money, and those plays get ran throughout the game.

  5. I don’t see it happening. If it wasn’t for Race or TJD he would start, but I don’t think he will start over Race. He’s a perfect fit with the 2nd unit/coming off the bench. He’s exactly what was missing last year from the 2nd unit, someone who can score more easily.

He’s proven himself he could be a starter, but I don’t see him doing that until next year (assuming he’s here for 1 more year). I think JG will get more dunks this year with the defensive help that Reneau commands.

I taught my about to be 4 year old at a very young age they are his balls.  Hope that doesn't get him in trouble at school but it's true, lol

My youngest now has caught on and loves saying nuts now lol. The life of two young boys is quite something.
