  1. Turn and face the strange...ch-ch-ch-changes. Ooh...look out you rock n rollers!
  2. I wouldn't limit the toast to the bullpen. The entire team has collapsed over the last two weeks, it appears. But as some have said, this was never supposed to be THE year this team became a contender. But the midseason excitement was a real rush and great fun. They're young and still need to figure out some things about momentum and the long season. That includes the entire Reds organization... and not just the players. The idea of hiring a more experienced manager sounds good, but obviously ownership feels differently about it.
  3. Nope! Not when there's money involved...big $$$.
  4. And the Brewers ain't the 1927 Yankees. They're quite capable of losing to anyone. No team is running away with this division. JMHO. 😊
  5. Reds take 2 out of 3 from LA. Move into central lead by half a game. Heading to Wrigley for 4 games.
  6. Couple of things to consider from what I've read as of July 27. No start date for 2024 has been announced. The EU has been planning this for a long time and delayed it's start numerous times due to the EU parliament moving slowly. The application isn't available at this time. When it is available, it will be handled through a web portal or on your phone via an app (imagine that). Cost will be about $8. Beyond answering some personal questions, you'll need a passport that's not scheduled to expire within three months. The actual form/application is for ETIAS (European Travel Information and authorization System).
  7. So, where should he play, if you were managing the Reds?
  8. Hmmm...Steer ties it up. Maybe that's why he's playing... eh, Scott. 😁
  9. Seems pretty obvious that the Reds offense doesn't match up well against the Brewers. Good pitching beats good hitting and the Reds look weak right now. The long season showing signs among this young team??
  10. You make a valid point regarding the length of the movie. While I didn't have a problem with it, that three hour length is/will be a criticism for many, I suspect.
  11. My wife used to watch it. Where the neck was I?? 😂
  12. I couldn't immediately place him, but I knew the face...but from where? My wife told me when we got home. LOL!! I think you'll like it. It's a great cast with quite a few big names...like Bernard. 😁
  13. Went to see Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning pt#1 last Saturday and Oppenheimer yesterday. Obviously, very different types of movies, but enjoyed both and would recommend each one. Both are lengthy with MIDR being around 2 hrs 45 minutes and Oppenheimer just over 3 hrs. Dead Reckoning PT #2 won't be out until next summer. Won't give any details, but I'm wondering if we could see the MI franchise making some character changes?? Also, if you go to see Oppenheimer, be on the lookout for an actor from The Santa Clause movies. 😉😁
  14. That not clouds...it's smoke from Canada. They ain't standing on guard for ya, that's for sure. 😂
  15. Yeah, but maybe Diaz needed a day off. You've pointed out more than once that he's not been as effective lately. And I imagine Sims could have needed rest too. So, yeah, he took a chance. Give Bell a break because the Reds won.
  16. My guess is that he thought the guy could get three outs. 🙄
  17. Rahm fades...Rory can't do anything... Straka?? Nope. Meanwhile, Harman is now 13 under with three holes to play and leads by five. He's been in one trap all week and leads in putting. No surprise that he's going to win the Open. None of the big names could do much, especially after Harman shot 65 on Friday.
  18. The Reds have been bad for so long, but these guys are so young that they don't really know that. They don't quit. And the city loves that spirit.
  19. And one more! He responds with confidence. He's going to be very hard to catch, I'm thinking.
  20. I don't think Rory has it in him...but Rahm does.
