He just signed a “lifetime contract”

Are you watching that game? That's some of the ugliest basketball I've seen this year. No defense on either side and quick ill-advised shots on offense.
Cal looks like he's going through the motions...
They could really use Heinz or Hunt or Del Monte or Brooks or possibly all of them

the outlook on Asheville is really surprising. much different from how i have experienced it and how i would describe it. i love it there. Hilton Head is pretty awesome. have had many great times in Myrtle Beach as well. to each their own.
It’s partly perspective. I was there evaluating possible retirement destinations. It was ruled out quickly. I’ve had great trips to New Orleans and Vegas, but I wouldn’t live in either

Kind of ironic that the add before gamer reed came on was for grammarly. Coincidence?
Was it an “escort” ad for his Grammar Leigh?

Retired down here in SC about 11 years ago. The whole state is nice. Charleston gets flooded easy like N'Orleans, but there are a lot of nice places to visit and live. We happen to live in Aiken (west side of the state, not far from Augusta, GA)
Love Upstate SC. Clear lakes, trout streams and mountains as a backdrop

Thought I heard somewhere that Asheville has two E's.
Best description I’ve heard of Asheville is “Appalachian hippies”. When I was there, people were shooting up in a park downtown in the middle of the day. My first reaction to Asheville was, “so this is where all the unemployed liberal arts grads go”.
On the other hand, Greenville SC, about 90 miles from AVille is really nice.

If anyone wants some quality Friday night entertainment, Purdue is struggling at home with Valparaiso.
Purdue shooting 24% overall, 1-11 from 3. 8-15 from FT line.

I do miss seeing Justin and Devonte walking off the court with their arms around TJD

I haven't seen much basketball yet, but I did watch some of Gonzaga vs Auburn. Boy, the Zags are fun to watch. Disciplined with terrific bb IQ... and good shooters. Few is such an exceptional coach. Love how he/they recruit and build a roster. Minimal OAD type players from what I've seen, so they always seem to have good experience.
IDK. To me they always resemble a semi-pro team with rented international players

Rondo was just on the championship team and won another title in Boston
True, but he’s always had a rep as a selfish player

Saw Rondo signed with the Hawks
That’s a good match. Neither Rondo or the Hawks are serious about winning

I was headed to UT/Texas AM to propose during the game... Covid altered that plan.. when I got the news I drove to her house on Tues and did it right then. Still surreal and we are obviously incredibly happy, we announced the news last night on FB.. so I wanted to let you guys know as well... she said YES!
Congrats. My wife and I were married at Beck Chapel. It’s a great spot

The countries that have managed this well are the Asia-Pacific countries that had previous experience with the SARS epidemic.,Their populations were willing to accept restrictions and contact tracing. I’ve traveled a lot in my career. It was common to see Asian travelers wearing masks long before COVID. The US and Europe hadn’t experienced an epidemic in more than a century.

Got to be one of the craziest storm paths, hopefully it doesn’t affect you or me or anybody else!
It is strange. We’re under a TS watch until next Saturday.

Thanks. Not expected to be bad at this time, but once the TS goes into the Gulf, it could get messy if it veers back toward FL later this week

Currently under tropical storm watch here on the west coast of FL. So far just gusty winds and light rain.
