I see Nijel Pack is ready to come back after getting covid. Local Indy kid that's starting for KSU as a freshman. 2.6/1 assist to turnover ratio in his 12 games. Also averaging 32 mpg. Shooting isn't bad other than his FT's. I know IU brought in Lander in this class, I just don't see why CAM can't bring in a local PG after striking out nationally. I know he's small and his rank (120) doesn't impress but almost anything would be better than running with RP and AD all the time.

Don't really get the question. KL was the 6th ranked PG in the 2020 class. Pack was ranked 22nd (coming out of HS, he was listed at 5'10, 165). Mike Saunders, from Indy, was ranked 38th. Pack is playing a lot for a really bad KS team and Saunders is playing about 10 min/game for a really bad Cinci team.

There are no ranked PGs for 2021 or 2022 from IN, let alone Indy. Should CAM bring in an unranked Indy PG to sit behind Rob and KL?

Completely agree, I'd even drill it down further to lack of recruiting big time point guards. He got Phinisee and then it was 3 years until he landed Lander, who as we all know was really a kid in 2021.

IU has had really bad, to average at best point guard play since Archie got here, and you'd think point guard would be a position he'd be able to nail, being a point guard himself.

He's basically struck out on every high level (by high level I mean top 50-75ish) point guard he's gone after until Lander. We always explained it that recruits figured Phinisee would have the position locked down, but unfortunately Phinisee hasn't develop like many had hoped.

Imagine this team with a Yogi at point guard?

Or McKinley Wright’s 15 points and 6 assists per game. He was a CAM recruit

    W. Virginia bear TT 88-87 on a shot with 6 seconds to go.  TT was up 12 with 10 minutes to go but couldn't hold it.

I know a lot of people criticized Archie for not extending the game by fouling with 45 seconds to go.  W. Virginia hit a shot to cut it to 1 with 49 seconds left and Huggins played it out and did not foul.  TT missed a 3 and then WVU hit the shot to win the game.

    Here’s a stat from that game. WV was 12-19 from 3 (63%) and 16-27 FTs (59%).

Oh.  I agree he is on the field.  Just always found him a little smug off the field.  Give me a everyone's my pal guy like Peyton, a down to earth, no BS guy like Favre, or a someone with the manners of Mahomes.

I will say that I always felt Belechik was the true genius behind it all in New England,  I may be wrong about that.

I found the whole NE franchise to be arrogant from Bob Kraft on down. I think Brady took on the franchise persona. I saw an interview with him years ago and he seemed very humble. He had older sisters who were athletes and he was overshadowed a bit. I live in the Tampa area now and he’s seemed different here than in NE. This coming from a Colts fan who despised Brady

Part of their reaction seems to be due to the fact that it's the new strain which is much more easily transmitted. The ESPN article I just read that was linked in another thread here said "positive tests" which indicates more than one person has it. That article does sound like they're erring on the side of caution but I still think it's likely not just athletes and/or coaches from a single sport that has it but probably someone in the athletic department who could have spread it between sports.

Yes. It was actually the MI Health Dept that shut them down due to 5 positive tests and 15 presumed positive of the new virus variant in the athletic department. Apparently an athlete had traveled to the UK recently.

I wish our big's could have some of the back to the basket moves that Liddell has for OSU.  He has a nice turn around jumper from the baseline.  It seems like our big guys moves are just to back down their defenders until you are at the basket.

He has a nice mid-range game

at the half OSU is leading UW 32-25.  No matter how bad UW plays they seem like they always stays in the game.  They got down by 11 but they did not let it go any further and narrowed the lead.

They have looked awful. 3/16 from three. OSU had a chance to bury them but got impatient and took some quick shots

In my not so expert opinion I see the Colts getting Carson Wentz and reuniting with Coach Reich. And just to confirm my prediction skills I bought 5 lottery tickets and didn't hit one number.

That wouldn't be a good thing IMO.  Way too fragile.

Not sure who it would be, but the Colts need to find their version of Ryan Tannehill. A guy who was serviceable, but unremarkable on a pedestrian Dolphin team, who made a major leap when getting the opportunity in TN. And no it's not Trubisky.

Oats could end up being a great hire.  I need to see another season though.  Good thing is that we aren't likely to have an opening until next year.

AL defines living and dying by the 3. On the season they average over 30 attempts per game and are shooting 36%.

In their three losses (Stanford, Clemson, W KY), they shot 17-77.

Prayer for Lavert and hope for a fast recovery.  I hadn't seen this but did see that the trade finally went through.  It said their was a problem with his physical but did not mention this

Why would the trade be finalized? Seems like a bad business decision by the Pacers
