  1. This is why we used the 13th scholly for that grad transfer guard in the portal. Oh,wait…
  2. I’ll be really impressed if I see him hit a contested three
  3. Woodson has basically said the same thing
  4. Same issues. Outscored by 12 from three. Outrebounded 8-3 on offensive glass.
  5. He hadn’t attempted a shot this year until tonight
  6. So, instead of Hummel, it will be Bardo saying, "I can't understand why they keep leaving Calvin, a 50% three-point shooter, unguarded?
  7. Agree. They've been working on their defensive communication:
  8. Stonehill gave St Joseph’s a scare last night, losing only 100-56. They play Kentucky next.
  9. Michigan looks very good. Illinois pretty good. Haven’t seen PU this year, but they should be good. Rest of league looks very suspect
  10. We are 278th in tempo, but are averaging almost 15 TOs
  11. Butler looks really good. They push the pace, share the ball, attack the rim and have multiple shooters. Thad’s done a nice job putting this team together (ten new players) and has them playing well early.
  12. I honestly wonder what our assistant coaches do.
  13. Stonehill 57 Army 44 UConn 107 Stonehill 67 We can be thankful that we don't have GW on the schedule: GW 89 Stonehill 44
  14. Hope so as well, however: He had a season ending injury to his right shoulder his senior year of HS. Despite playing sparingly at FL, he had a lingering hamstring issue 2021-22, had a concussion in 2021, had knee surgery for a meniscus tear in 2021. With the Colts, he’s had another concussion and season ending shoulder surgery. He’s rarely been healthy
  15. That would seem right. AR will have three more years on his rookie contract. Manning will redshirt this year. If he plays three years the timing would be right. However, if the wheels completely fall off before then and they have a top three pick, they’ll take the best QB available at the time.
  16. Not one player at Army has an NIL deal. Not permitted in the military academies.
  17. If you read articles from Young’s playing days at TX and TN, it was generally consensus that he and Michael Vick were the two best athletes to ever play QB. Young and AR were/are the same size. In 2006 Young ran a 4.58 40, AR ran a 4.43. Allowing for advances in training, I’d say they are both elite athletes
  18. Right now AR is a less durable Vince Young. A freak athlete playing QB, with accuracy issues. Not sure how the Colts record would be better with AR when he’s yet to win a game.
  19. Coaches always say they want to run and score in transition, but this roster isn’t built for it. The team is too slow to beat anyone down the court to the rim and we don’t have pull up three point shooters. Plus, in order to run, you have to rebound well, which they don’t. If you’re serious about being a transition team, you build a roster like FL Atlantic with one post player surrounded by four guards who all shoot 35% or better from three. IU is the mirror image of that.
  20. We are averaging 44 shot attempts to 62 for the opponents
  21. Seems like they were all unforced
  22. We are going to waste our one season with Ware
  23. Outscored by 48 from three in first two games
