Also, I think someone may have mentioned the shot numbers. In the second half I believe XJ had taken 10 shots to TJD 4. That’s not going to work. TJD was getting the double but because of that he should have got even more touches to find an open shooter. It is going to be a long season on the road.

You could have inbounded the ball to no one and got the same results that XJ gave the last 5 minutes. IU was up 8 with 6:30 or so remaining. XJ was out of control. Just running down into the paint and throwing a blind prayer over his head. That’s his fault completely but the staff let him do it over and over and over again.

Guys I’m going to bed. It’s a tough loss that should have been a win considering the first 35 minutes. People are going to vent because they care. That’s what boards are for. Let’s keep it civil please.

Look, the staff did a fantastic job getting the team ready to play. They had been starting so lazy. So good job on that. The team (mainly XJ) was out of control and on a tizzy at the end of the game when Wisky pulled within 4. A Thad Matta or similar experienced coach who can close games would have handled that differently. This staff just let it play out. This game shows a glimpse of what can be but the reality of where they currently are. As a team, staff and let’s just not mention the program

I don’t think “Woodson is a joke”. But he isn’t above criticism considering his knowledge of the game. He will learn from this and move forward. What burns me is to have these guys geared up and ready to go and completely trip on your own feet at the end.

No idea why Johnson has taken it upon himself to shoot all the shots the last 5 minutes. Smh this is so IU as we’ve known it for the last 20+. Can’t ever put a whole game together. Yeah this game I picked them to lose by 10. But they had a terrific first half and could have put this one away. Omg. I’m over it. All of this with a McD all American. What a wasted talent.
