  1. Because those two teams losing was already part of the equation... it was the first part. They have to lose. Then I said "them" and I should have said "ILL and UM".
  2. Going to get a chance... NEB got two great looks to tie it. Good game.
  3. MSU still leading... 50 secs left 4th Q MSU has had two injuries during this game... one just got carried off... she doesn't look like she'll be able to play tomorrow.
  4. Right. We know that. NW+Maryland losing was always a good thing for us. It's not an either or thing. I'm talking about ILL and UM. I don't really understand what is so confusing.
  5. Them being at 9 losses means a lower seed for us. Them being at 8 losses means a higher seed for us, it's that simple.
  6. Why wouldn't you think that game would be a factor? Every game is a factor and it's a BIG game for us.
  7. I'm rooting for Michigan tonight because it gives us the best path possible to be a higher seed in the BTT, to make a run in the tournament, and which in return helps our ncaa seed line. ILL can go beat Purdue on Sunday, make run in the BTT themselves.. maybe they'll end up Q1 then? Idk. But yes, undoubtedly being the 2 seed is going to be easier than a 5 seed in terms of winning the BTT, of course.
  8. If we won those 9 games... we'd be the #1 team in the country lol
  9. I agree with a run in the tourney. Not at 22-11, though. Not once can I remember that weak of record being a 3 seed... especially not in an a non-covid ridden year.. (2020-21) WVU was 19-10 in LOADED B12... Winning our next 4 > ILL being Q1... in terms of an NCAA 3 seed.
  10. the bold is speculation... and that's how poor our overall record and resume was last season. Maybe 98%? Maybe more like 90% and those wins we could be getting in the BTT will probably be the difference between a 3 seed and 4 seed. Depending on other results, as well. 22-11 isn't going to cut it, though. It's just not enough... for a 3 seed, that is.
  11. That wasn't directed at you, but it's not bottom tier in regards to Indiana this season, just like last year..... win the BTT you're a 3 seed. Without the run we had last year... we aren't in.
  12. Cannot understand the dislike for the conference tourney.
  13. So we won't end up a 3 seed if we win out?
  14. I don't think #2 is true... I would hope the committee would be smart enough to see that those are still good wins, and then go win 3-4 games in a row and end up 24-11 or 25-10.
  15. If we just win Sunday, find a bye... win 2+ games in the BTT that trumps ILL moving to a Q1 win.....in regards to a 3 seed. I want that too. Heck that is 2-1 or 3-0 in neutral court games in one weekend alone. I'm rooting for Michigan tonight. I don't really see a path for ILL to end up a Q1 anyways. A win tonight won't do it, and I don't think they win Sunday.
  16. To think it's not looked at all? of course it is.... Last years 3 seeds going into the NCAAs- Wisconsin- 24-7 Purdue- 25-9 TTU- 27-6 Tennessee 26-7
  17. haha man, I couldn't fathom us winning there last weekend, either.... so hell, F it..... Go Orange!!
  18. Currently sitting inside of JCHS right now.... lol I teach here.
  19. Is it the matchup or you just don't think UCLA is that good? They don't seem to have a ton of depth down low... I'm sure we'd have a tough time matching up with them on the perimeter, though.
  20. Now.. if we had a time machine and knew ILL was going to beat PU on Sunday?... Hell yeah I'd root for ILL tonight. Just don't see that happening. Either way, last night was crazy good for our BTT seeding.
  21. Meaning we'd have to play out west... PASS!!!
  22. Maybe I just like pain by wanting to play Iowa again. And jesus we don't matchup well with them. A 3rd win over Purdue.... that would be looked upon pretty favorably.
  23. We aren't getting a three seed at 22-11.
