  1. Big facts. I am still astonished she is allowed to treat the officials as poorly as she does.
  2. That's exactly what we did! Or what we had drawn up, it wasn't executed that way.
  3. As long as we win Friday, we are a 1 seed, undoubtedly.
  4. Cute earrings though. This is his picture for the UM basketball program. lol
  5. No. I don't think Dickinson is coordinated enough to do that as quick as we see on the film. I think if you're viewing it as a "stomp" it's because his goofy ass is tripping over Wahl's stupid ass. There is a lot of stupid in this video.
  6. I think Dickinson is a clumsy 7'1 260lbs dude haha
  7. https://www.ihsaa.org/sites/default/files/documents/021923.BBB Pairings.pdf Link to regional pairings FWIW... North Daviess won't have to play a team within 11 points of them (in the Sagarin), if they were to make it to Semi-State. I think Scottsburg, Connersville, ND all win. Not sure about the Evansville sectional
  8. 4pm start... suppose to be 55-60 and reasonably sunny tomorrow. We've been pretty lucky to play to Feb home games.
  9. I really don't think we have anything to worry about in regards to a 1 seed, but certainly crazier things have happened.
  10. No, UW is just smarter with their punk moves. Wahl is being a completely flopping b**** in this video. That's not basketball to try and draw an offensive foul there.
  11. Man... that's lame as hell defense by the UW player. It's a flop first by Wahl and I don't think Dickinson even makes contact with Wahl with the alleged stomp you guys are seeing.
  12. Great points, and you're right. We guarded CC extremely well for two games. Unfortunate Chloe slipped. I would like to point out... we should be sent to Greenville, just like SC, but we should be the 2 or 3 seed overall and NOT the 4. We shouldn't see SC until the championship game.... assuming we win on Friday.
  13. Friday Controlled the whole game, honestly. One bad pitch (3 run bomb) to their 3 hole hitter was the difference in the game. Seiler- 5IP 4H 2K 2BB 0R 62p He was awesome. This weekend featured another, tight (fair), strike zone, I will speak more about the zone later on.... Seiler obviously isn't still "fully" operational at this point, you can see that with the pitch count. Hopefully he can throw 75-80 this weekend and fully go after that. Vega+Levy came out of the pen, they weren't the best, but Levy was solid until the three run shot he gave up. But, when Seiler is full go.... he throws no less than 2 more innings in this game... maybe even 3, and the bullpen has way less work to do. At the plate, we did struggle.... but Texas threw a real dude. He held Arkansas 5IP 2H the previous Friday night. We at least really battled a ran his pitch count up and he was out of the game after 5.2IP and 105p. Saturday More of the same from our offense. We couldn't muster anything. Texas starter was really good and we were poor with runners on and runners in scoring position. At one point in the weekend we had hit into 5 double plays and were 3-33 with runners on base. Woooof. Devin Taylor got his first career start and had an RBI. Seti Manase started and went 4IP 1H 1R 3BB 1K. Unearned run was a dropped fly ball in the 1st. Only 2 of Texas runs were earned in this game. Kraft came in, and because of errors (mostly tough plays), struggled some and gave up 2 runs. Hayden, Yoho, and Whiteaker all threw scoreless innings. Sunday Both offenses struggled throughout. Our offense got going in the 6th.. all with 2 outs, Pyne RBI singled, Mathison RBI single, Tibbitts 2 RBI double. 4 runs in the inning and it was the only inning we scored. Luke Sinnard(6'8 230) had his 2nd excellent start of his career on Sunday. 5IP 5H 7K 0BB 2ER (one a solo bomb in the first)... he was very, very good again. He sat 92-95 with a cut fastball and slider to play off of that. Cooper Hellman came in for an inning of work. Kraft redeemed himself with 3IP 1H 2K 0BB to get the 9 out save. Starting pitchers combined- 14IP 10K 5BB 10H 2ER on the weekend. Bullpen was mostly fine, as well. We look like a very solid ball club.... Mathison, Ellis, Colopy/DH spot is where we are still lagging. Tyler Cerny played more at 2B this weekend and imo he will take Goforths spot at 2B, ultimately. Cerny is very good in the field. Cerny started Sunday. Our defense since game 1 at Auburn has been very, very good, as well. With Ellis struggling we can play Serruto and Langermann more often. Serruto threw out 4 base runners yesterday. And I think we had 3 outfield assists this weekend? Something like that. Defense has been good. Again.. Mathison, Ellis, and company at the plate is the only reason we aren't more like 5-2 right. I've really liked what I've seen so far and feel very much at ease with the pitching staff. We did a great job in the portal. Of note... Ty Bothwell did not pitch this weekend. Last season in conference play-- 21IP 1.29ERA... add him into the mix (he should have been in the game late on Friday, but he might not be healthy)... and we could really have an excellent pitching staff.
  14. Now he would be a good comparison for JHS... except for that whole transferring thing.
  15. Please do not regulate Iowa's "doucheiness" to just Fran. Don't forget his oldest son, clown. Rebraca, clown. Caitlin Clark, clown. Gary Barta, clown. Kirk Lafrentz, clown. Their baseball team, clowns.
  16. Over 27 innings of baseball on the road at Texas we got beat 11-8.... week 2. I'm perfectly fine with that outcome.
  17. I don't agree about the lack of having someone on the ball. I don't like having anyone on the ball there, but Garzon can't get caught in no man's land. They weren't as worried about Clark as they were a direct inbound underneath, which I agree with. The design is fine, Garzon needed to read the play a little better and adjust... and simply put, CMM can't get screened there. She's one of the best defensive players I've seen.. just goofed. Like that was a simple screen to get around if she had recognized the angle CC was taking to get to the ball. Chloe shouldn't have been touched by that screen and then she's in CCs hip pocket as soon as she catches. I will repeat, there is nothing wrong with the design of our defense there. Our execution was the issue.
  18. We don't really need to box and 1 CC, though. Clark was 24-50 from the field in two games against Indiana. And 7-23 from 3. 6-22 before that last shot. We can play her straight up, which we did start running a double at her to get the ball out of her hands late in the game, which I liked. Iowa's complimentary pieces hurt us more than CC did today.
  19. Sydney didn't help off... Garzon was in the lane. But Chloe really should have just been through the screen easier.
  20. Garzon fell asleep. She was the helper off the inbounder. Chloe was very unaware, oddly, that they would screen for CC. Very poor defense by us there. Uncharacteristic. Moving on.
