So what’s the consensus at this point… we need to win 3 straight vs Maryland, Minnesota, and Rutgers(who is very good of late). Does that get us in at 19-11 with a loss to Purdue? Or do we need some games in the B10?

Disappointing loss. Tourney hopes hanging by a thread. I’m a masochist, so I’ll keep watching, but it’s going to take a serious turn around at this point to make it in.

Also not really fair to make an equivalency between Gard putting his hands on Juwan and what Juwan did. They are not the same.

What’s wrong with the timeout? Michigan was pressing a bunch of walk ons with less then a minute left down 15. Don’t like it? Either don’t press in that situation or don’t get blown out.

Howard shouldn’t coach the remainder of the year. Multiple players likely suspended. He was completely unapologetic in his post game presser. As much as I dislike Wisconsin, I find next to zero fault in what Gard did. I hope next year after their game Gard pulls out boxing head gear and puts it on before going through the handshake line.

Haven’t lost two games in a row all season, and I don’t think we’ll break that trend come Tuesday.

This Texas Tech crowd might be the best one I’ve seen outside of Assembly Hall in a long, long time.

Nebraska beating Michigan would make me very, very happy.

I feel like we’ve played a lot of games lately, so this week off should be great to get everyone’s legs back under them and hopefully get Rob healthy. Combined with Illinois playing a tough game Wednesday, I have high hopes for next Saturday.

Does this camera angle make it seem like the game is in slow motion to anyone else?

Maryland is really, really bad offensively. No effort to get it into the paint and just hoist jump shot after jump shot.

Not pretty, but winning on the road rarely is. Would really like to stretch this out so Lander could get some serious run to get the feel for things.

2 baby soft calls on Lander. Just awful. Let the kid get a rhythm damn..

Stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, here’s an encouraging sign. We haven’t lost more than 1 game in a row this year so far. Under Archie every season had a soul crushing/year ending losing streak, with maybe the one exception being the year the tournament got canceled. If we can keep the loss streaks to 1 we will definitely be tournament bound. 2020-2021 6 game losing streak 2019-2020 4 game losing streak 2019-2019 7 game losing streak, followed by 1 win, followed by another 5 game losing streak 2017-2018 4 game losing streak

My thing is this: Anyone who pretends they wouldn’t have done the exact same thing if they had been a student last night is almost certainly a liar. We don’t win the game last night without the students who have had next to nothing to celebrate for years. Let them enjoy it.

Cant stop thinking about this game. Every single player made plays that contributed to the win. Just couldn’t be happier with the win. Total team effort.

Favorite subplot of the game: Stefanovic: 1 for 7 from 3. I feel like he’s been lethal against us the last few years.

If there was one player above any other that I wanted to have a good year this year, it was Rob P. It doesn't get any more special than this. From West Lafayette... A lot of hate from our own fanbase over the last 4 years... singlehandedly kept us afloat in the first half and than drains the biggest shot in recent IUBB history. Incredible. Couldn't be happier for him.

Bart Torvik has it at IU + 1.2 points with a predicted score of 73-71 Purdue wins. Gives us a 45% chance of winning. Honestly better than I would give us. I’d imagine the line out of Vegas will be something like Purdue -7.
