Why are we making a big deal about who is a 'starter'?  The bottom line is the guys playing the best should play the most.  That's what happened last night.

Rob and Galloway were on the court during crunch time, not Stewart or Kopp.  Nobody is going to play 40 minutes, so I ask you.  Given the way the game went last night, are we satisfied those two were on the floor at the end, or is it that important that we call them 'starters'.

If Galloway starts the game or 2nd half guarding Ivey, maybe he is in foul trouble and cant be aggressive at end of game.  Maybe if Rob starts out against Purdue's first unit, his early shots are more contested, he misses them, and he does not have his confidence build.

For those that are still hoping for a lineup change, please explain to me WHY that is so important.  And, always starting the best 5 is NOT a valid reason.

It's all about matchups and being one step ahead of the opposing coach with your situational substitutions.  Having Rob, Trey, and Geronimo coming off our bench works to our advantage.  It's plain as day to me and I'm surprised not everyone can see it understand that.

I not making a case for who is starting...  it's more of identifying a match up, that is not in our favor.  Coach knew early in the first, he couldn't keep Parker and Kopp on the floor at the same time... so why give teams momentum back, by going back to something that obviously isn't going to work.  Again, it's not about starting,  but identifying the bad match ups

No doubt CMW has a plan, and knows way more than some of us (incl me). But I'm frustrated that we seem to always start slow, dig ourselves into a hole because Kopp & Stewart are not excellent 2 way players and often get beat on defense. Then the calvary has to come in off the bench and save the day.

However, I have to give credit to Kopp for a great defensive game against PUke. He did a number on Stefanovich. But was a goose egg on the stat sheet. I'll still take Galloway over Kopp or Stewart as a starter. More energy, moves the ball better, plays good D, and has active hands. Maybe we wouldn't start out slow as we have for many games.

But if CMW ways keep us winning....I can live with that.

I agree.  It's very frustrating to watch Galloway and crew come in and bust ass, get a lead. Then coach loses the lead by inserting guys who can't physically guard certain match-up. . Love Woodson and how it's going,, but this is an issue that Ray Charles can see.

This is a great question.   I'm actually surprised the biggest personal injury firms aren't battling for that market. Car dealerships have taken a hit,  so that typical market may not be there for now.

It's only a matter of time, and once you have a few early adopters, I think we'll see the flood gates open. The problem is the how you gauge ROI and set market value. A&M boosters went big. Instead of buying one 5 star left tackle that could flop, the A&M people became the ones that bought an entire line.  That's a nice reputation to have!

I agree. I would rather be on the forefront,  pushing the envelope and not playing catch up. It's time to buy our championship

Thanks. So, am I getting this correct? Not only is there a limited selection of movies with Atmos, but there are only certain parts of these movie that produce that ‘sound dome’ effect?

Thats correct! It is very cool when they are used, but it is nothing like the demos... buy a receiver that supports atmos and auro 3d.  That will allow you to use all of your speakers...  Lately i just leave it on auro 3d.

Anybody pretty well-versed with Dolby Atmos?

Long story short, I was just going to get a sound bar and sub for our basement TV, because the only the kids use it. But after a new couch, bigger TV, etc. I'm thinking about doing something a little more.

The idea of Atmos looks intriguing, but I want true Atmos tech with upward firing speakers. The Vizio Elevate 5.1.4 is apparently a 'true' Atmos system that doesn't break the budget. That said, I'm still reading about obstacles that can get in the way of getting the Atmos features: a newer TV HDMI ARC inputs, only certain movies are offered in Atmos, the streaming service, the hardware the streaming service streams through, etc., etc.

I don't even know if I'm set-up properly with the devices I have to get Atmos, and if that's the case there's no point in getting an Atmos system.

Your receiver will need to be atmos capable,  so start there.  We run 7.3.4

Atmos is cool, but a lot of movies are really lacking.. the demos sound great, but i havent found a movie that compares.

I find myself using Auro 3d on most movies to get the most from my ceiling speakers

  6. It stinks the rona page was locked. Personally I found more info about the subject on here than anywhere else... Obviously people have different views, but I think overall we respect each other.

I vote open it back up. Covid is the most significant life changing event in our time, let us vent our frustration.  Some people may need that
