I’m guessing Cincy by 10-14… hope I’m wrong first true road game in a big environment. Possibly having a center start his 2nd ever game. I can see the O Line struggling in this one. I’d be happy with a close game in the 4th. the one we really need to get is the Nebraska game the following week.

Honestly Cincy fans were incredibly annoying last year at the game. They acted like they were Ohio State. Haha like who you do you play? 2 power 5 teams the entire year? Real tough schedule. Come play in the BIG East

The problem with IU which is usually the case when a team is trying to make another program jump is the O line and D Line continue to be problems. JH Tevis looks like the only solid one and O Like continues to be a struggle. There are only so many 6’5+ 250+pounds athletic humans walking the earth and most are going to better football programs. Development on the D line and creative offense to help run game for O line is huge. I honestly think a more mobile QB like Ramsey is the best way to go for IU. Gives you more options in run game.

You in damage control or what? But ya your right there are a lot of big PU losses over the last decade..last night 4th quarter blown lead was just another one. I’d be ticked.. I’m still mad about the Cincinnati game last year. Seemed like that really shifted the momentum of the season when they ejected Micah. pretty much a must win tonight for IU… 11th toughest schedule in nation. If we don’t win tonight not looking good

?? Anytime you blow a lead in a big ten game I consider that a big loss. Especially with schedule set up for you to potentially contend for the west. Not sure you will ever miss mich st, Michigan, Ohio state again

Really is he wrong though? The O coordinator didn’t help the O line but still pretty surprising Hiller wasn’t canned. We shall see very soon if that was a mistake or not.

I’m really hoping we go back to playing more Zone as well. Best way to get takeaways is to get eyes on QB and ball.. just like Iowas D that lead the nation in INT’s last year… our D last year was way to much man to man with our backs turnt to QB

Oh ya we don’t lose that game if he doesn’t get tossed on that BS call! Losing Mathew’s was a huge blow as well. He was really the only WR that could get consistent separation

Would be an incredible stretch for IU football.. being in the BIG East every year is brutal.. really hoping this is last year for divisions which should really help us and make it way easier to be consistent with bowl games and building momentum

I think we will surprise and get to a bowl game. It’s crucial we right the ship before all momentum is lost. If Allen can’t do it at IU I’m not sure anyone can.

Our defense will Be good again with Allen taking back over.. really in my opinion comes down to what O coordinator Bell can do with our offense. Can he be creative enough which should help the OLine and everyone perform better.. I really can’t think of worse play calling than what I witnessed last year.

Losing our D coordinator to South Alabama to be head coach was big. Our D coordinator changed to much of our coverage last year. And obviously from the 19 year losing our O coordinator to Fresno State.. those were 2 really big losses and we missed on our replacement hires.. can’t do that with the BIG East as brutal as it is.. The talent is still there and yes obviously QB gotta stay healthy.

Real nasty! I think there are several pros in that lineup. If we can just get some pitching we have a shot at hosting a regional over next 2 years.

Dang Mercer is recruiting at a high level.. if we can just get some pitching the next couple years could be special

Heck of a lineup! But if your giving up 10 runs a game it’s hard to compete. Hoepfullly some pitching studs are on the way and we could make some serious noise

Looks like our pitching is turning the corner 👀 at least some positive momentum to bring in to next year. We should have the chance to be really good next couple years if our pitching improves
