They may have, but I truly think he was told he would be a solid bench player with respectable minutes, but not a starting role. Money does talk sometimes, but playing time often trumps.

This is the most likely scenario. We think we hear things and have good connections, but all these portal players and recruits get premium first hand info. They are just much better at keeping the info close to the vest then most.

Pretty obvious how important guards are for Purdue. Zach had 0 assists last night. His guards were none existent, but I also give UConn's defense a ton of credit.
